Description
Rhian has vibrant, deep red hair that falls past her shoulders but is typically tied up into a high ponytail. Her eyes are a bright, honey gold color and without makeup, one can spot several small, lightly colored freckles sprinkled across the bridge of an upturned pixie nose. Her looks provide an average sort of prettyness that, with some modifications, blooms into head-turning, if slightly manufactured, beauty. Rhian, who places a good deal of value on her appearance, is therefore rarely seen without her make-up with her typical look sporting modestly winged eyeliner, smoky eye shadows, and Guerlain Rouge nude lipstick. Her left shoulder is adorned with an elaborate tattoo of some peonies while her ears each hold three small silver hoop earrings (two per helix and one per lobe).
In her dimension, she is well known by the public as Queen Bee, a cold-hearted mage and murderer who runs with a group by the name of Cat's Cradle. She would, however, advise anyone who knew of her status to be wary of labels (advice she often ignores herself).
The name came as a result of her ability to control insects-- as well as her history post-criminal career. She also has the ability to enlarge insects-- they can get as big as three-story buildings. Her style of dress is heavily influenced by grunge-- google any grunge outfit and it's likely Rhian either owns or has worn it with close to perfect accuracy.
She's kinda like a stereotypical sheep/snob at first glance. While she would certainly like to say she's come a long way since her high school days of clinging to her group of popular friends, she is still very much concerned with appearances both physical and intellectual and can't seem to shake the inherent need to be part of a well-established herd. In spite of such setbacks, Rhian has a soft spot for romance and cute things. She also likes coffee and writing in her journal.
Her parents were well-established entomologists, but she grew up developing a bit of a bug phobia in spite of that. After obtaining her bug ability during high school, however, she begrudgingly learned to tolerate them. She also knows a lot about bugs thanks to her parents, but rarely ever flaunts this because she doesn't want to come off as "nerdy". She has not seen nor made contact with her family since obtaining her ability as mages are very poorly regarded in her universe.
Rhian has an emblem on her chest (just above her collar bone) that glows gold whenever her ability is in use. Because it gives her away, she often covers it with scarves or high collared jackets.
At her strongest level, Rhian has the ability to sprout wings and antennae that resemble a bee. But that's only for when shit gets serious, y'know?
Extra Information About Rhian's Abilities:

Bee is able to completely control insects, arachnids, and the like-- even some insect-like monsters. This is still under speculation, but due to data gathering on the largest swarm she's ever amassed on the fly (no pun intended), it would seem she can summon any bugs within a 4 mile radius. She can also grossly increase the size of her insects-- to a degree. 15-20 car-size creepy crawlies at a time, five the size of your house, or one that's straight out of a Godzilla movie. These numbers aren't exact, but sightings have been consistent enough to suggest that the number of bugs she can grow is dependent on the size.
If giant swarms or just plain giant bugs (some of which are definitely poisonous) didn't seem like it was enough, Bee can also fly via a pair of large, translucent wings. As with her bugs, she is able to "summon" her wings at will, along with a pair of long, antennae. When is this state, she is extremely fast and agile-- like trying to swat a fly that's sending hordes of bees straight for your eyeballs at the same time.
