Cyl the Burden

Intro

• Description

  Cyl is what appears to be a nervous wreck of a man aged a few years beyond what should be. Without much use of his muscles, he struggles to walk on his own. Since the day he was gifted a walking stick, he has never been seen without it. But it has done so little to boost his confidence beyond the whispers of odd favors and praises. Without so much as a drop of self-sufficiency he should have been tossed aside long ago. And yet, here he is.
  
  To his credit, Cyl does not lack willpower. There are many tasks with which he needs help. Getting in and out of a bath, or standing can sometimes be problematic for him. But, despite this, he will still attempt to do so before kindly asking for help. As much as his pallid, ashen color suggests weakness, he will try to hold his own as best he can. Though a helping hand has never once sent him into a rage.
  
  Though, what others notice more often are his eyes. Many take him for blind at first, but it is merely the colors which play tricks on people. When his eyes face forward they appear a soft, rosey-pink. But, as his eyes shift from side to side they perform a trick. Orange-red-pink-red-Orange seems to be the pattern. Though he has no explanation for how or why this happens. It appears only in his eyes, as his skin and hair have never changed in color since his birth.

• Personality

  Cyl can be summed up easily. Brotherly, bashful, and charismatic. He is an awkward person full of flaws, frailties and wants. As much as he adores being close with someone mentally, he shies from physical contact with almost everyone. Though that is neither hard to understand or hard to see.
  
  He speaks mostly in whispers, to start with. Which means he usually has to get close to someone for them to hear. He finds it very hard to introduce himself, and will often stay silent until called upon in some fashion. This being said, he can have a very sharp tongue and wit, and can dig deep with his words. But few and far between really coax the worst from him.
  
  Far happier to speak kind words and praises than anything else, Cyl is strangely reluctant to start any sort of conflict.
