Ssussun

The Dökkálfar (otherwise known as dark elves), are an inherently wicked race that lives deep underground in an area called The Infinite Shadow. Many millennia ago- not long after the majority of Faewilde had already formed into various clans, a group of elves that were relatively young compared to most sects; were visited by an demonic spider goddess. Piyavka, she called herself, and promised the young and rather naive group that she would grant them her prowess to gain superiority over the other clans, in exchange for their loyalty and endless devotion. Foolish and greedy, naturally they accepted her offer, and she granted her 'Precious Daughters' great advances in magic and an elevated social status. To her 'Menial Sons', she gifted enhanced strength and dexterity via magically altering many of their bodies into morbid half-elven, half-arachnid forms; cast down below all others and expected to do a bulk of the harmful and strenuous tasks.

With her army of followers properly prepared, Piyavka launched an attack on the largest of Faewilde's clans; the Ljósálfar. Of course, the group of elves were exceedingly proud of their status- promptly countering the onslaught, which created a battle that lasted several centuries. Eventually, Piyavka and her young fleet of elves were defeated by the better-prepared, elder elves. (to be continued)
