  He is the King of Diamondia, one of the former four Kingdoms. Now, the four Kingdoms are united under his reign - the United Kingdoms of Diamondia.
  
  Rendall was the Diamondian Couple's first child. Soon after birth it turned out he was a needy kid. The King and Queen were busy people, so they would give him a nanny. The impatient but kind middleaged woman loved the kid in an instant. The royal couple had even busier schedule having their second son - Maddock, which they decided to raise on their own. By doing so they had very little time for their firstborn.
  
  The problems would start piling up when the boys were sent to school. It was a private facility tutoring the royal children. Boys, especially Rendall, were picked on by other kids because of being the King's sons. Maddock would soon stop paying attention to the bullies, he was indeed calmer and more mature. But Rendall wouldn't have it, he would always stand up to the kids and they were merciless on the worked-up boy.
  
  The elder son always believed the crown was his to get when the King decided to retire. He got greatly disappointed one day when he was sixteen. By King's decision Maddock was the one to become the ruler and Rendall was to be made his General and second in command. It hit the already frustrated boy hard, he felt he was deceived, fooled, as later he learned that Maddock was raised to be the King early on.
  
  Rendall's teenage years were quite turbulent. Throughout his teens and after he found out he would become the General he would start an intense training. The royal couple hoped the physical stimulant would tame the boy's temper, but instead - he would seek revenge on his old rivals. Already developing a habit to smoke, he also grew to be aggressive, jealous and disobedient. It didn't help that he grew to be a handsome prince that was wanted by every teenage lass within the Kingdom. It only fed his vanity.
  
  Being 20 years old he would meet Astrea - the love of his life. He fell in love with the small princess the first time he saw her. She was intimidated by him but soon loved him back. Thanks to her Rendall had a chance to show his kinder and protective side.
  
  They were truly happy, she accepted him like he was - brash and loud. But she was his sweetheart, he had a soft spot for her. They wanted to get married, Astrea became pregnant and everything seemed to have a happy ending. But the girl was weak and fragile - labour turned out to take a great toll on her body. Not her neither the baby made it out alive.
  
  Rendall was devastated by their deaths. He couldn't deal with the fact that the only people he truly loved and cared about were gone. Trying to ease the pain he would train harder than ever before closing his heart entirely.
  
  He got cruel and merciless. Maddock was not the King people expected making the country weak and open for attacks. A group of traitors would try to attack the royals, but they were crushed by Rendall. He was still protective but his methods of dealing with criminals were questionable. He was angry and blood-hungry.
  
  Maddock's actions only made him worse. Along with his army he rose a revolt claiming he should be the King. He would challenge his younger brother for the crown. At that point the army was more loyal to the General than to the King so it was clear Maddock was doomed.
  
  And doomed he was, Rendall defeated him almost effortlessly taking the crown for himself and putting Maddock in the dungeon. A part of him would question that but his hunger for power was stronger. None was going to stand in his way.
  
  The other three rulers were shocked by Rendall's actions, they would try to interfere, but he was stronger. He took their kingdoms one by one and to humiliate the overlords - he made them his servants.
  
  King Rendall is a harsh person to be around. Undisputed, aggressive and merciless. Stubborn. He craves power and demands respect. But does he care about his people ? In a way, yes. The crime rate under his reign is the lowest ever. Maybe because of the ammount of soldiers stationing in the cities, the main reason being they keep their ears and eyes open for any badmouths on the King. Rendall is a powerful man but suffers from inferiority complex. He pushed away his friends and family to gain more power, claiming he doesn't need anyone around him. In fact he's just an angry but lonely man. Maybe that's why he's so harsh on others ? Anyone who tries to become close with him - he pushes away. He hates showing his more caring side, he considers it a vulnerability.
