UNIQUE FEATURES
Has several piecings in one ear and almost always wears a medium sized circular black earring on the lobe and several black cuffs running up the side. Has a large silver triangle earring that wraps around the outer center of the ear. (like this combined with this).
ADDITIONAL FORMS
Dream form - when in the dream world Kin takes the form of a large white wolf with a black mane and tail. His fur is long and flowing and has black designs on it that look like parts of constellations. There are also pinpricks of black scattered through his fur that make him look like an inverse version of the night sky. When in the mortal world his colors are inverse, his fur becoming black with white markings.
STRENGTHS AND ABILITIES
Kin can create dreams of any capacity and scope, able to manipulate them in any way he sees fit where the limit is essentially just his imagination. He can move between dreams as well, including being able to move between individual dreams, the realm of dreams itself, and the real world. Because he's a Dreamweaver, many of the dreams given physical form (such as small animals or fantastical creatures) are
drawn to him to aid him in whatever way they can. He can also take the form of a large wolf in either the real world or the dream world. A lifetime of living inside people's minds (essentially) has additionally given him incredible deductive skills and personality-reading skills, he makes for a pretty good profiler. In rare or desperate situations he can also extend his control over a person's consciousness beyond just daydreams or dreams; he can alter memories, such as making them believe that they knew him before or making them forget him, as well as induce visions and hallucinations (either terrifying or pleasant).
WEAKNESSES
All of his abilities take a decent amount of stamina and focus--since the dreams are created or manipulated based on what he can think of or imagine, if he finds himself lacking in ideas he won't have the same kind of power. The Realm of Dreams, in a way, feeds off of his essence to sustain itself when he isn't within it. Because of this, he can only exist in the real world for a certain amount of time; if he were to stay longer than that time, he would slowly be forced into the state of existence he lived in as a human, so it would essentially be like being forced back into having a terminal illness. He would eventually cease to exist altogether (die) if he were to refuse to close the gate he created between the two realms. Everyone who he interacted with during his time in the real world forgets he ever existed once the gate between the two realms is closed--he has yet to find any exceptions. Unlike humans, who can only be lightly injured in dreams and have those injuries carry over to the real world, Kin is vulnerable in both the real world and the dream world--injuries carry over 1:1 in both places. In the real world his powers are quite limited and he has all the same vulnerabilities as a normal human would.
ATTITUDE
Kin often walks through life without a care in the world; he tends to be aloof and distant in most situations, not so much in the pretentious way so much as that he's just constantly lost in his own daydreaming. He has very little care for consequences and tends to be as relaxed and laid back as a person can be. He's very rarely without a crooked smile and an awkward laugh. He can come off as shy and reserved upon first impressions, but he's actually quite social and has an endless curiosity about the world around him and the people in it. He can be quite easily embarrassed and flustered because of this initial shyness. He is quite easy to get along with because he's more than willing to try just about anything once, and this easygoing and adventurous nature vibes well with most people. The downside to this nature is that he's actually quite lazy and makes a regular habit of avoiding his responsibilities, often only doing the bare minimum of what is necessary and even that is usually when Vis forces his hand. He is a constant procrastinator and has very little sense of right and wrong, his naivety almost as obvious as the blatant denial that is is constant optimism.
