Captain William Towers (played anonymously)

In the Portsmouth, a massive row is taking place.

Across shabby docks and dingy looking houses situated by the stinking harbour sailors all covered in mud and blood dive over each other in fits of fury over some such thing, sailors having fights on the dock isn’t such a unusual thing..Atleast without their captain present.

A man in a rather fine uniform is seen shouting over the mess “YOU IDIOTS! STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY!”

What an embarrassing mess…the boys had whipped themselves up into such a frenzy that even the threat of the army coming down didn’t seem to calm them!

The entire street was filling with men are wrestling and declaring their side with accented shouts of “JUPITER!” Or “SWORD!” In this case before getting into the mess, knives had been drawn..even a pistol which rather boldly got swung the captain’s way.

That drew the immediate reaction of a sword sheathed arm slapping the arm out of the way, making the thing go off in a boom that would surely attract many a people…

But in the head of a clearly dressed captain it loomed the possibility of an arranged end…it just got personal.

But first they’d have to deal with this mess.
Gran (played by Mirafin)

Gran sat on a barrel quietly knitting as the fight went on around her. She wasn't paying it much attention, turning a heel was serious business after all.

When the heel was finished she glanced up in time to see a captain swing his sword a someone who was pointing a gun at him and thought that things we getting a bit messy. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another man approaching the captain while he was distracted, a dagger in one hand. Quickly and smoothly, Gran returned her knitting to a pouch on her belt and drew her own dagger. Swiftly and smoothly, she approached the man with the dagger. He didn't seem to be interested in the fight, just in getting to the captain.

Before the man could reach the captain, Gran stabbed him in the right buttock. A painful wound that would slow him down, but keep him alive for questioning. She then pushed him over and behind another barrel.

"You and I are going to stay right here until we can speak to the captain, lad. I imagine he'd like to know why you were sneaking up on him."

The fight ended rather quickly after rhat, everybody slinking away and shouting insults, sailor fights were common enough on the docks some even egged on by the superior officers but Tp openly attack one was an offense worth investigating.

To the lower crewmen it was like somebody attacking their father almost, someone had to pay.

The screaming crewman with the woman was the only one left and got himself a personal audience when the well dressed man appaorached “Ahh you found one, it’s good to see the locals see the injustice for once” he throws a coin at the lady “Now young man~ if you’ll talk I won’t hurt you”
Gran (played by Mirafin)

Gran caught the coin in the air, but couldn't resist rolling her eyes as she put it into a pouch at her waist.

"You'll want to watch this one, no telling if he has another dagger or some such surprise for you hidden on him somewhere."
