However, as someone who got to witness the solar eclipse in 2017 first hand, if you can manage to see the real thing in your area, I strongly recommend that. It's an experience like nothing else.

I watched some of it! Pretty cool to see the "blood moon".
I saw the 2017 solar eclipse too. I totally looked at the sun like you're not supposed to, though, hahaha. Little crescents everywhere, super fun! I'd like to see the lunar eclipse but I don't know if the video will load...
I also remember the solar eclipse. Unfortunately, we had cloud cover where I live. Hopefully we'll have clear skies in 2025 when it comes around again...
