The nymph sunk back into the water, watching him clamber through the trees. She was fairly silent for the most part, just staying as well-hidden as she could be during this time. She waited patiently, making sure to keep absolutely still whenever any movement was heard.
The young male, once reached his destination, hopped down from the branch he was in and entered his house.
He spotted the amphora, picked it up, and dashed off once more.
However, he heard a shout from somewhere... close to the--
"The pond!"

The nymph was surrounded. There were about five men, all trying to be the one to capture her, although she was hiding in the water. They were all debating on how they could catch her. She was scared, terrified really, and she really didn't know how she could escape before they found out a way to 'catch water', as it were.
"Oh no..."
Farran took off once more. He knew the nymph was in danger.
"I have to hurry!"
With that in mind, he increased his speed, becoming a blur to the seeing eyes of anyone that was there.

The nymph bubbled the water here and there, sending whips of water to slash at the men if they got too close. They were still debating on how to get her, but they were slowly and surely coming up with a plan. The nymph was terrified. She doubted Farran would ever get there in time. Or, maybe Farran was the problem for this himself. Maybe he had caused this.
Farran jumped off, the brushing sound alerting the hunters to his presence.
"Hey! Meatheads!"
The rude shout seemed to have its taunting effect, as they turned to the young male, angry expressions on their faces. This only brought a smirk from him, as he discreetly pulled something from his back, the amphora firmly held in his left arm.

The water nymph watched him carefully. As soon as he had the men distracted, tendrils of water lifted out of the pond and slapped against the men like a whip. Then she waited for the chance to get into the amphora.
The young male, seeing the opportunity, dashes through the group of the stunned hunters.
"Come on, let's go!"
He shouted as he scooped the nymph with the amphora.

He shouted as he scooped the nymph with the amphora.
The nymph quickly slid into the amphora, settling at the bottom of it hurriedly. She seemed just like water, as if he'd scooped normal water and nothing else. But the hunters knew what he was up to, so he needed to make a quick getaway!
"..."
Farran kept silent.
"Hmph, I knew you would be smart enough to not face us and keep quiet." snorted one of them. "So, give us the amphora and you won't get hurt, kid!"
The others laughed, while Farran hung his head low, his hair shadowing his face.

The nymph's 'face' peered up at Farren. He was tricking her? He was going to hand her over? The amphora started to shake as the water started swirling around inside it.
"..."
The young male put the amphora down, gently, as not to break it, as he raises his fingers to his mouth in a weird gesture.
And then, a quiet melody, akin to that of a flute, resonated, making the hunters turn around in confusion.
"Hey! It must be th--"
One by one, the hunters started to faint and collapse like domino pieces.
Seeing that his melody had its accomplished effect, Farran stopped playing its unseeable "flute" and picked the amphora up once more, dashing away to safety.

The amphora stopped shaking as the nymph settled to watch what was happening, and watched in surprise as the men all fainted! She was silent as he ran off with her, staying safe and sound in the amphora. She had thought that he was going to turn her over. The question was, why didn't he? She wanted to trust this man, but what was his motivation? Surely he had to have a motivation.
Farran dropped down in a small clearing, their surroundings hidden by the trees that were tangled around each other in a way akin to a protective barrier.
Pouring the nymph into the pond nearby, the young male sighed, looking at her.

The nymph relaxed a great deal once she was back in the pond, and she raised herself a bit out of the water, staring at him. "...who are you? Why do you save me?" She certainly didn't trust him. He had just saved her, but he had to have a selfish reason for it.
"I... did it for... personal reasons..."
The young male just looked away with another sigh, turning his sight to the sides, his face dropping into a solemn yet saddened state.
