Hi, I used to rp when I was younger but due to trauma with an older woman making uncomfortable rps with me I haven't rp'd in nearly 10 years. I'm looking to get back into roleplaying although I'm at a loss at where to start. I figured a place like this would be a good for me and hope I can actually be active here!

I am trying to freshen up my writing skills, especially since a long time friend has been wanting me to rp with her for years since we have quite a few ocs with shared stories. So I'm hoping to gain some of my lost confidence in my abilities and improve my writing!

I made an account months ago but this is my first time posting here because life got in the way but I'm gonna try to be active now. I'll try adding some characters soon, and making a post in the "looking to rp" section! Thanks for reading this. :]

Salutations and welcome! I too took a long hiatus for a mental health break. Sometimes we just need time to grow, understand, and take in what life has to offer. I'm glad you found peace enough to do what you love again! And as for activity, I can assure you that most of us have jobs and families and social whatnots that preoccupy us from time to time as well. So not being active all the time is perfectly fine! It's supposed to be about enjoying what you do and sometimes motivation is a key factor in that. Taking a time-out is all good!
