hello, everyone! i recently returned to furcadia. it seems that the only well-populated rp dream i can find is the golden tether. i may just not be looking hard enough! do you have any suggestions? i'm not personally fond of sci-fi or feral rp, but if you have a suggestion of that nature, feel free to post it- someone else might find use of your ideas.

by well populated i mean a population of 70+ on a regular basis. if you have a smaller suggestion (but never completely empty, because what's the point then) and you think it's a high-quality dream regardless of the low numbers, feel free to tell me that, too! and, of course, feel free to advertise your own dreams. i certainly don't mind.

uhhh i usually rp with my friends in cypress homes, basically characterized as a white trash town (sorry treeki) but it doesn't really have much of a large group collective. it's good for building homes n stuff but if you're looking for tether diversity in terms of activities idk if it's the place you'd wanna kick back in. we usually do fun persona rp though!!!!

it's one of the most popular furc dreams in terms of attendance but not everyone rps there

ah yeah i remember ive been there before!! not for rping purposes though; i was a big build-a-home user years ago! unfortunately my rping style is a bit averse to persona play but now i feel compelled to stop by just for nostalgia's sake

Within the Imaginarium, there is the Peddler's Hollow. The design of the city is interesting, at best, but most who are asked to play will gladly invite you to their games. Last night, I returned from my week long vacation to find over twenty different characters, some that I have not seen before. Peddler's Hollow is also where my first guild is coming together, likely the first ever Tea Guild!

i just visited on an alt to briefly peek around as well as checking out the site! it seems pretty interesting. i think i might stop by one day, though i'm still trying to figure out if my only current character (mena) would be acceptable there.

After having glanced at Mena, I would certainly believe he would be accepted, dream-wise. I cannot promise anything that has to do with other characters, of course, as another witch may have spoiled the attitudes of others, towards witchraft. She would certainly have an interesting reaction to Mena..

@miss haha, i actually think that would be rather interesting. i've not rped him with anyone at all yet, much less someone with a negative predisposition regarding witches, and i think it would be pretty interesting

Hi there, witch! Glad to see you coming back to the game!

The TGT is still uploaded in FurN (which has recently gotten a remodel in the last update)--unfortunately I don't visit it, so I can't tell you precisely where it uploads. However, it does have a group here on the RPR, and I imagine (assumption!) it or their site linked to it can tell you where it's uploaded or if there is a `join <name> you can use for an automatic summon to its map! The Golden Tether, Greystone Tavern and The Village of Nasmara are the three that I recommend.

The Golden Tether is uploaded within FuRN, although adult (explicit) themes are not mandatory. The best person to ask about the dream is Siena in-game, although better yet, you can just auto-join the uploader bot by typing `join tgt. That will get you right into the dream.

Greystone Tavern is in Imaginarium. The setting is Furcadia's default continuity, so, no humans allowed but, the storyline is engaging, and the role-play dynamic.

The Village of Nasmara is also uploaded in Imaginarium, not too far from Greystone Tavern usually. F3-ing will get you to 'Street Corner', and The Village of Nasmara is literally dead ahead next to the Theriopolis portal. Full of diverse, engaging players, with great storyline(s) be they dream-run or player-created.

I have never noticed a soul inside Nasmara I am curious if you guys get down at different points in the day? Would love to know when the dream is active

I would recommend Greystone as well as Peddelers and Silver Souls Castle, all of which are in Imag. Greystone and Silversouls are both run by smart-seeming people who are awefully understanding while Peddelers has some of the better RP I have had in a while.

That said in responce to the Original Question I do not think you are going to find many dreams with that large of a playerbase. 70+ makes it sound like you have been gone for a few years my friend. In general a highly successful Imag dream runs 15-35, while Furn allows for 40+. Without turning to Feral stuff though you are ONLY down to TGT and sometimes maybe Slave Chambers, that dream seemed to have numbers.

I would remark maybe you should be looking for Plot Active dreams looking to pull more people in, or maybe if you come from an older age of play, just make your own dream/have one commisioned. I do hope you find some play, and am ALWAYS willing to RP with a Witch

I'm a GMter, so when I role-played there it tended to be pretty quiet until 1 - 2pm GMT. Most of the players are, I am guessing, somewhere in the EST - PST range for timezones.

Piping up from Village of Nasmara:

Yup, most of us are EST (or have work schedules in other time zones that mean that they play around EST hours). You'll find bodies there from 6pm to 2am EST with another blurb in the morning. T

At our most busy we run around 6-8 people at time, usually in 2-3 different groups.

We don't allow folks to idle and grey-out in the dream, so we only have people in exactly WHEN they want to RP, meaning that if you F4 there and get a name, that's a person actively fishing for RP

I am looking for a more mature RP environment. Not like the Slave dreams, but one that allows for a more mature RP approach, such as language and the such. While the Imaginarium is great and all, is there anyone interested in helping establish a RP Dream in say..Hawthorne? I'd be willing to help in any capacity I can, that being said I absolutely am awful at dream building itself. But for story and a mythos, as well as many other things along those lines, including moderation (If absolutely necessary) I have skills at that.

Perhaps make a new thread that is titled more specific for this? I'm afraid people will skip this otherwise and you won't get as much interest as you otherwise would!
