Hiruko looked at Yoshi, confused,"The five what's?"He asked. There was a few things that humans used to get a better understanding of things,he figured this was one of them, he didn't understand. The dream eater seemed to be thinking for a moment, but when he couldn't think of anything he looked at Yoshi again, waiting for an explanation.
Yoshi playfully rolled his eyes. "Oh pardon me, you'll have to forgive me. The five Ws are 'Who,' 'What,' 'When,' 'Where,' and 'Why.' Also, there is a 'How,' but we can discuss that afterwards." Yoshi looked forward to be rewarded with the site of the cafe. "Fantastique!" he exclaimed in perfect french as he saw his new source of sustenance.
The five what's,they were so simple and easy to remember, but it sounded like a child hood rhyme."Hm,simple enough,"The dream eater commented. He was once again thinking when Yoshi had exclaimed in pure delight,Hiruko looked at him with an puzzled expression and then shrugged."I guess you really are hungry."He said, looking at the cafe.
Yoshi held the door open for Hiruko. "Well, there's no particular order, so just start wherever, and we can just check items off our list as we go," Yoshi said with a smile. Yoshi spotted a booth in the corner, somewhat secluded. "That one looks good," he told Hiruko later, though he really didn't mind where they sat.
The dream eater looked up at Yoshi, and then looked down as if thinking.Hiruko bit into his bottom lip,he wouldn't know what to say."..right."He nodded as he spoke just before entering the cafe.Once they were both inside Hiruko seemed a bit out of place, and he felt that way too.He stood there, looking around the place when Yoshi pointed out a booth in corner."Yeah, that's fine."He agreed.
Yoshi sat facing the kitchen door, allowing Hiruko to sit on the side that had vision over the rest of the tables, booths, and counter. "One moment, please." Yoshi said as he got back up to go to the counter. Before Yoshi went to offer Hiruko anything, he quickly recalled Hiruko didn't actually need human food. He was there for a few minutes before he returned with a tea cup on a saucer. "They're bringing the rest in a minute," Yoshi said as a "greeting" upon his return to the table. "So where where we? Please continue," he said as he wiped the rim of his cup, and stirred a spoon around the Cherry Wood colored liquid.
As Yoshi talked to the worker,Hiruko covered his nose.It reeked of human and they're food, the dream eater shuddered he was trying not to make it obvious that he was the person everyone was looking for.If anyone found out in a place like this,Hiruko looked around, the likely chance of them getting out of here didn't seem high.Hiruko watched Yoshi sit down,"..hmm."He thought for a few seconds but then eyed the liquid. What an odd color?"..where to start, how about this, I don't even know who's dead.I didn't even know there was a murder until the town turned against me."Hiruko said softly.
Yoshi picked up the cup and took a sip and rested it back down, all without producing a single sound. He nodded his head as he payed attention. "Alright, then why did that crowd form? What do they think happened, and where would they have gotten their information?" Yoshi asked as a woman in an apron brought over a teapot and a plate with a panini and fries, emerging from the door Yoshi's seat faced. "Oh, chips as well?" Yoshi said with a surprised face, and a happy tone, momentarily forgetting the matter at hand.
Hiruko bit his lip,why did these people form a group to go after him.Who even said that he murdered some one?How would Hiruko know all of this, this was questions that he should be asking the other human beings, not him!The dream eater huffed, rubbing his forehead."What makes you think I would know any of this."He asked Yoshi,he seemed a bit irritated, but he was trying to keep as calm as possible. This person was willing to help him,so getting angry at Yoshi wasn't worth it.Hiruko looked away when the woman walked over to the table,he didn't know what she knew and he wasn't really willing to risk it.
Yoshi tilted his head. "So your saying that a random group of strangers suddenly had knowledge of you murdering someone zapped in their heads from out of the blue?" Yoshi continued to eat, though he could feel Hiruko's feelings grow more intense.
He didn't like that word,"Not exactly, someone must have framed me, you know why? Because I must certainly didn't murder anyone!"The dream eater replied coldly. There was a long silence when he sat back with his arms crossed and looked away. This was annoying, this felt more like an interrogation then help..
Yoshi wasn't getting very far. He didn't finish his food but was full anyway. "Ok, well how long ago did this all start anyway, and where? If possible, describe everything that happened up until i met you. Assuming you can handle it of course." Yoshi's reply was calm, as if Hiruko hadn't said anything yet.
Hiruko's blue eyes were icy at this point,"Simple enough."He said softly. The dream eater looked at his cane resting in his lap."Last night,I was dealing with a customer all night long, and half way through to morning.I would say an hour after they left I decided to leave myself, get some fresh air. That's when things went sour and people pegged me something as disgusting as a murderer."Hiruko told Yoshi surprisingly calm,he was proud that he didn't sound as irritated as he felt.
Yoshi made a bridge with his fingers to rest his head on. He nodded as Hiruko spoke. "Well it appears like your last client would be our best bet. Don't you agree?" Yoshi refilled his tea cup from the glass pot, swirling the spoon around the cup again. "Do you remember anything about him, or her?"
Hiruko sat back again looking at the table thoughtfully."..the young woman was terrified.."He said thoughtfully, the woman clearly had nothing to deal with murder. After all,the woman was terrified of the mere mention of death, well she was after her nightmare. For some reason this made Hiruko shiver, was it possible? No,he really doubted it.
Yoshi was a little disappointed, not allowing himself to show it. Hiruko still hadn't quite answered his question. "That's all you know about her?" Yoshi valley gestured with his hands. "Nothing like a name, or address?"
He knew names, but never addresses, he had no reason to know someone's address.Put it simply, people went to him for help, not him looking for people that needed help."Her name was Summer, and I don't ask for anyone's address. It's simply not necessary since people generally come to me,not the other way around."Hiruko explained to Yoshi.
This man was prone to not helping Yoshi help him. Hiruko appeared to like playing the victim. "You mean you don't know how to find her, or anything that could help find her?"
Hiruko sighed heavily when he looked at Yoshi,"I feel the need to apologize,I don't ask where any of my clients live.Granted, their nightmare is no gone, but there have been many cases of the people I help trying to befriend often end up having the nightmare again, and at times it becomes a waking nightmare. So, I distance myself from those humans to save them the pain."Hiruko explained to Yoshi,"That includes of any possible way of me finding her.Even if it could be a way to clear my name..I couldn't go to her.I couldn't go to anyone for their safety."He said. Many people generally started to lose their mind before going to Hiruko for help once again, but,by the end of it the damage was already done.Although,he had decided to this at least seven years ago now and nothing would change his mind.
((OMG i'm a terrible person, so sorry ))
Yoshi's posture appeared defeated. "Really? You mean you have absolutely no way to contact someone who you've been inside, mentally?" Yoshi straightened out and crossed his legs. Yoshi was used to entering people's minds, their most personal self. However, getting frustrated would get him no where, so he remained calm.
