The fiery beast cackled again and reached out to touch his arm. Without hesitation it had locked it's hand around John's arm.

John backed up a step when it reached out for him, and next thing he knew it had his arm. He winced in pain, "let go !" He said and swung the sword at the beast.

The beast hissed when John's sword passed right by it's head and it's grip tightened. It was like the beast took that as a treat against it's life and wasn't going to listen to what john wanted.

John winced feeling its grip tighten on his arm, feeling it burn! Though he acknowledged how the beast reacted to the sword going near its head. THAT WAS IT! The head! He took advantage of time, and swung for the head,

It growled, letting flames go further up his arm. It wasn't happy at all, and then it wasn't anything. John's sword seemed to slid right through the fire as if it had no affect. Then, after a few seconds, the fiery creature turned into a pile of ash.

John glarred at the beast with heartless eyes, pissed at it. He watched as the creature turned to ask, and a sigh of relief escaped him, he looked at his arm, burned, of course, but he had to find the orb, and onward he went.

Hiruko, in the mean time, had been looking high and low for the orb. So far, he hadn't seen it. Then he stopped for a brief break to check his leg. "..geez...at least it only aches."He thought aloud. He was wondering what would happen if John found the or first, what was he going to do? Was he really going to do what he promised? Yes, he was if it meant Ven could go back home and be free , then he would. His friend didn't deserve any of this.

John looked up and down, left to right, looking for that orb anywhere he could, but couldn't find it anywhere. He didn't expect it would be this hard, but it was, and it sucked. He had to find it though, he could use a little 'help' with his future bidding.

It was time for him to get moveing again, he had to find that orb. Hiruko ran a surprisingly, shaky hand through his blonde hair. He just wanted to find the orb, tell John and then get to Ven so he could give him the potion.

What seemed like hours passed of adrenaline, and worry, and then it happened. John found the orb, a Victor had been found, and a bright blue light shone from the orb, and everything went white for big him, and Hiruko, and soon they found themselves, standing one infront of the other with a 4 foot distance between them. "Game over.."

Hiruko was getting a headache from stress building up in his head. Just as he shut his eyes something had seemed different. When he opened his eyes his heart must have fallen into the pit of his stomach."..So..you found the orb.."Hiruko said in a dull tone. He took a few staggering steps toward him.

"Seems that way kid" John said holding the orb in his hands calmly. A calm expression, and insanity in his eyes, he had won, and now, Hiruko worked for him. "Now..your side of the deal, " John said and tossed the orb far to his left, and when the orb smashed on the ground a blinding white light blurred their vision for a moment, then when everything cleared up Vens soul laid there on the ground. Almost free.

Hiruko was silent, his hair hung his eyes. There was nothing to say, nothing he could do to change any of this. Only if he had been faster, or maybe if he was fast now. A dark smirk seemed to form on his lips as he walked over to John. "..My side of the deal? Ah, that's right, I said I would do your bidding."Hiruko said once he had stopped in front of John. And then did something that no one would expect him to do. With his sword sheathed he reached up and went to stab him.

John had an eerie feeling knowing this kid wouldn't just voluntarily g through with this, and his grip tighened on his sword just incase. Just in case this kid tried anything, and when Hiruko went to stsb him, he defended himself with his sword,

"Hah,smart.."He said,"But how dare you try to stop me. I'm just trying to keep my end of the deal,John."Hiruko took a step back before slicing at him. For someone so small and injured he was pretty fast. It was like he had been storing up all his energy just for this. And he wouldn't stop until his sword went through some part of John.

John defended every blow Hiruko threw at him. Every single slice reflected off his blade. He went on like this until he slipped, and Hiruko had a chance, and Hiruko...got him.

Hiruko smiled again,"..You know, you might have wanted to send more time thinking about the deal before agreeing."He said, slowly twisting his sword. "..I'll admit, I thought about what I had agreed to well searching for the orb when an idea popped into my head. What would happen if I killed you here? Wouldn't you cease to exist?"Hiruko mused darkly as he looked up at John.

John quietly winced, his sword had dropped to the ground, and his hands were now on Hirukos blade, as if truing to stop it from twisting, or going ing him any further. "Why do you care? You gonna end it now? Make you and your little friend happy?" He said, almost taunting him.

Hiruko moved his left leg back when he dropped his sword. He was so close to hitting his leg and that wouldn't have been good. "Why do I care, well, I did say I was going to kill all humans for you. And seeing as how you stopped being a dream eater when you died, surely you became human. So, I'm still doing your bidding."He said, trying to twist his blade even more. His logic was odd, but he hoped that it would get to John on some level."..Now...good-bye."He said as he tried to twist the sword even deeper.

John chuckled a little then winced, "your a clever boy" he said to Hiruko. "I'll see you beyond the gates of I sanity, and one day when your life is long lived, we will meet again, at the gates of Hell" John said feeling the sword go deeper, and the deeper it went, the more John faded away, and Vens soul in the distant disappeared and slowly Hiruko would find himself behind pushed out this world.
