All the foster kids here..for some reason, all had something sad and dark about their pasts.Some of them noticed, some of them didn't,"Would the protect me..?" She asked a little shaky voiced.

Hiruko frowned at that question,"..they'll try."He told her.In truth, he could only help Mary so much,but she would find that out soon enough.Why was this making him feel so guilty?He didn't understand where this guilt came from.

Mary took a deep breath through her nose, and sighed.She looked at Hiruko, "I could face it with somebody there" she said.

Hiruko nodded,"Now,you better get comfortable,because were about to face this nightmare."Hiruko informed the nine year old girl.

She would be a brave girl.She nodded an okay.

Hiruko took a deep breathe, and then walked over to her and placing one of his gloved hands on her head,"Now,it's time to sleep and leave this world behind for a little while."Hiruko said, a incantation he often used to get customers and himself sent right into the dream or nightmare.

She girl watched each Hirko took towards her.When he reached her, she looked at him from where she sat on floor.She felt his gloved hand atop of her head.She nodded an okay.Within seconds, after he said some words, she started to feel tired.

Hiruko watched as the child began to fall asleep,here he went again.Into another gruesome nightmare,not that he cared,he actual enjoyed it.

The girl eventually dozed off.Hiruko may not have been scared, but the girl wasent very synced to be here.

As Mary dozed off Hiruko seemed to fade away,this was one of the things that made dream eaters so rare.They actual enter the dream as their own reality,which meant getting hurt in anyway wouldn't go away when the person was ready to wake up.Soon enough he found himself somewhere else,defiantly not Mary's house."Mary?"He called out, just be sure nothing had happened yet.

The girl heard her name, she didn't recognize it but she followed the voice.

Great, enter the nightmare,lose the customer."Mary,where are you?"Hiruko called once again, he watched everything.She did say a man trying to kill her and an animal tried to maul her,he quickly shut up.Walking around and looking for her seemed like a better,less painful choice to find Mary.

Mary walked, but she heard the russle in the bushes.And like a child that was scared of the dark, and was far away from home, outside, she ran.She ran very fast, until she bumped into Hiruko.Customer found..

Hiruko stumbled back when Mary ran into him,looks like she found him instead."Hello again."He said looking,around.She ran from something, was it still around?"Are you going to be alright?"Hiruko asked Mary,he figured he might as well ask, the child looked terrified.

"I heard something so I ran" she said..but in the nightmare, the killer came after her once she ran, so he should come soon.Few seconds.

"Okay,Mary you need to try and remember what happens in this nightmare."Hiruko told her,he was very serious now.There was no more talking gently or formality's. It was his job to help this kid, and for him this was a true death or life situation.

Mary looked down, trying to remember."I run away to nowhere in specific, once I heard a russle in the bushes, and the killer chased after me.." she recalled.But just as if on signal.The killer stood ten feet away.

Hiruko looked from the girl to the killer,"You don't say."He said,his blue eyes narrowing as he watched him.Now she just had to find out who this person could be,or what caused this man to go after her.

Mary could probably name the killer."I know who the killer is.." Mary whispered, almost like a scared child..there was a way of knowing something.

He did notice the clear fear that Mary was feeling,but now wasn't the time."Who is he?"Hiruko asked her,he really didn't want to take his eyes away from him.He had this feeling that if he did that he would defiantly attack.
