Ven thought a moment.."Yeah" Ven shook his head, "sorry for getting off subject" he said.He looked down at Hiruko, then looked ahead' now thinking of what they planned originally.

"..don't be."Hiruko told Ven.The dream eater started to walk off,just walk around the the park again.This was the only place Hiruko really went as a kid, of course he did sneak out often to get to the park.But,he liked the park and made his first friend, so all in all it was worth it.

Ven followed right behind Hiruko.Ven..hadent visited this park, but once, since Hiruko left.One time in 12 years.Well' there went that long streak.Both of them snuck off to come t the park technically, considering Ven just said he was going outside.

Hiruko glanced at Ven again,"So,did you still here before it was shut down?"Hiruko asked Ven.Little idle chat my have not been his best, but he was trying.

"I only came once, after you left" Ven said looking around.

".Oh.."Hiruko replied,and then sighed.That could have gone a bit better if you asked Hiruko,he really did need to think of something else to say,aside from their past and about the park.

Ven was quiet a second, then looked at Hiruko."Make any friend while you were gone..?" He asked.He hoped he wasent Hirukos only friend..unlike some people Ven wouldn't be jealous if Hiruko had another friend, besides him...he was curious.

Hiruko frowned at that question,how could he answer that?He didn't exactly make friends with anyone just went from place to place dealing with people that needed help with their nightmares and at times dreams.But there was that one time one of his jobs went wrong he he did end up staying with a girl and her older brother for a while,"..I guess.."He finally said.

Ven nodded an okay."The more friends the better" he said.Not that he would know.

That was something Hiruko heard often,at times he heard it a little too often."..How about you,have you made any friends in the past 12 years?"Hiruko asked Ven.

Ven was silent a moment..."eh.." was all that escaped his lips.That was a sign of no..more then likely.Sad but true,.

Hiruko's blue eyes went to the ground,and then forward."..that's..unfortunate."Hiruko replied softly.Many people swore that Hiruko loved saying this,but what else could he say?Sorry?Or that's bad,better luck next time right?That wasn't the young dream eater,he let out a sigh.

Ven shrugged a little."As long as I have one friend, I'm happy" he said.He didn't require a lot of friends.If he got lonely, he had his imagination.He had his illusions.He had the foster kids...he had Hiruko.

Hiruko smiled a bit,"..yeah."He said,and then stopped.He was a definitely happy to be at the park,but a little disappointed that this place changed from what he did remember and that no one had really showed up.Hiruko may have gained a dark humor,but before he got here it got him through certain days.

Fen smiled a little, and nodded."Yeah" he said.The park hadent changed to much...nothing was taken away from it..the sandbox the two started building their city was still there..but the city was gone..they play ground they ran around on when playing tag was still there..but now in the park there was a fountain, which surprisingly was still working.The park had swings now too..
Remember when Ven said some gangs snuck into the park at night? Little did they know..this was about the time the gangs showed up.

Hiruko stretched before he stopped, maybe it wasn't that he was upset about the little changes,maybe it was because of something else.How would Hiruko know?"Ah, at least it's a quite night.That's something else to be happy about this evening."Hiruko said.

"Agreed" Ven said.Ven walked over to the fountain that wasent far from them, he looked at it.Unaware of the 'visitors' they may soon receive.

Hiruko looked at the fountain ,it was nice even though this place had been shut done for a while.He walked over,wondering when they put the fountain in the park."Hmm.."

Ven started messing with the water in the fountain.He couldnt really see it that good, but it was doubtful that there was money in the fountain, they probably took it out before they closed the park, but Ven wasent looking for loose change, he was just messing with the water.

Hiruko blinked and then looked over at Ven,soon he started laughing."Aha,just like old times."He remarked.After all,Hiruko did find Ven playing in a puddle with a stick, and that did turn into them flicking water at each other.Ah,good times.
