Ven laughed some, "I know right?" He asked.Ven messed in the water gently with his fingers.Ven looked at Hiruko..then sprinkled some of the water on top of Hirukos head, into his hair, then went back to what he was doing.

"Yeah.."Hiruko said,with a small fanged smrik.The dream eater took his gloves off and stuffed them in a pocket before dipping his pale fingers in the water.He chuckled as he flicked water at Ven.

Ven smirked and took his fingers out of the water, and flicked water at Hiruko.They were acting like kids, litterally.But they didn't care.

The dream eater shook his head a bit,but he laughed.Hiruko once again put his fingers in the water flicking water at his friend.He did it a second time and then took a few steps back,and waited.

Ven glanced at his friend, feeling the water hit him.He looked away dipping his finger tips back in the cold fountain water, then flicked water at Hiruko.He was about to dip his fingers back in the water, but heard footsteps, he looked behind them, seeing five figures in the distance..

Hiruko's smile was gone in a blink of an eye and replaced by a glare..but there was still a small smrik.He looked at the figures,they seemed to be heading this way."Hm,people.."He muttered watching the five pretty closely.Hiruko clearly didn't trust them just by simply seeing them.

Vens smile was gone as well..He watched the five figures closely..he was taller then four of the guys, and one of them was probably about his height.They approached Ven and Hiruko."Leave" one of them said.

The dream eater scoffed,like he would listen to a human being.He hardly let anyone boss him around,not humans that he didn't know,nor like.Hiruko looked over at Ven,he would have normally said a snide comment but didn't want Ven to get in trouble.But, could a small little question really hurt"..why should we listen to you?"Hiruko asked, sounding a lot colder then he intended to.He then sighed,a simple question could make things worse when the person sounded like that.

The five boys looked at each other, then at Hiruko."Cause if you don't, we'll beat the s*i* out of you" the leader of the group remarked.I'd love to see you try Ven thought, the humans didn't look strong, except the one that as the tallest.

"oh?"Hiruko said, his blue eyes went to his cane resting against the fountain.He could reach it perfectly fine just in case these five did give them major issues.The dream eater looked up at the them,"You know,I've seen a lot of things that are pretty freaky and threatening,"He paused,shaking his head,"But you really don't scare me."

"Trying to act tough little ****er?" The leader asked.But not questionably."He's the size of a dwarf.." one of them pointed out.

Hiruko really didn't view any of this as a threat or insults,if anything he found they way they acted very funny.Granted laughing probably was the worst thing to do, but the dream eater couldn't help it.
Wow.Just wow,you really are a stupid lot of humans aren't you."Hiruko laughed,this was genuine laughter.Hiruko was making it very clear that he had never really dealt with gangs or anything like that before,until now that is.

The tallest one of the gang grabbed Hiruko by the front of his shirt collar, and lifted him off the ground, somethin Ven was oh so used to.Hiruko was away from his cane."What did you say??" He asked.

Hiruko stopped laughing,this guy had just ruin everything,"You just love proving my point."Hiruko said calmly,showing no signs of how annoyed he was.His blue eyes went to his cane,which was further away,now Hiruko would have to deal with this without the cane."Honestly,put me down.."

(Is it embarrassing? *confused..since blushing has many reasons*)

"Nah, I don't think I will.." the boy said glarring Hiruko in the eyes.

{No,it's not embarrassing,I just blush when anyone complements me.I don;t know why}

Hiruko tilted his head slightly,"Oh?What a shame.."Was all Hiruko said.In his mind he was defiantly planning many things in his head,and how all of this could end."Tell me,are you tired?"

Ven watched the man who was holding his friend, his eyes were purple, he was ready, inside, in case he needed t use an illusion."No.." the man answered.

{Ahah, thank you!You do too...as soon as I figure out how to give kudos.}

Before hand he had made it to were the glow in his eyes was gone,which meant from when they got here he was a bit blind in the dark.Until now that was,he never could keep that little ability back for long,"Are you sure?"He asked him again,grabbing the leaders wrist.Silently,he muttered that little incantation hopefully nothing would happen before the spell actual set in the leaders mind.

"What the hell did you say kid?" The leader questioned..until..he oddly..started to feel... tired.Ven looked at the leader.Then back at the rest of the group, Making sure they didn't attack.The leaders grip lightened on Hirukos shirt collar..

{Ah? *blinks*Don't worry I'll figure it out}

Hiruko smiled a bit,"I thought you said you weren't tired."He said to the leader in a low hiss.Now that his grip had loosened up Hiruko was move so working on getting his collar out of the leaders hands.and he was pretty close to getting him to let go.
