Ven followed behind Hiruko.His tall shadow walking alongside him on the ground.Ven looked up at the sky as they walked, deep in thought.

Hiruko looked from place to object,searching for something to entertain the two for a while longer.So far nothing.What did this sleepy town did offer at night time,absolutely nothing,well not from what Hiruko could see at the moment.The dream eater let out a soft sigh,anything could pop out any time.That would be something wouldn't it?

Ven kept his gaze up at the sky, still deep in thout about things.As they walked along he payed no mind to what might be at his feet, which led him to tripping over something.He snapped out of thought, and fell.He looked to see what he tripped on...a puppy?

Hiruko stumbled a bit when Ven had fallen.The dream eater spun on his heel and then looked down at Ven,"Umm,have a nice trip?"Hiruko joked,his blue gaze went to what Ven had tripped over.What would a puppy being doing out here by it's self?

"Ah shut up.." Ven said kiddingly.He looked at the puppy still..it appeared like a dalmation puppy..a young one..old enough to walk..but not old enough to out alone..

Hiruko chuckled in response,giving Ven a tap with his cane.Then the dream eater walked over to the young puppy and knelt in front of the little one,"Why are you out here?"Hiruko knew the little pup wouldn't answer,but it didn't hurt to ask.

Ven felt a little bad for the pup..he knew how it felt being alone at a young age felt..he still remembered wandering the streets as a young child.The pups response was walking over to Hiruko, and placed its paws on his knee, and wagged its tail.

Hiruko blinked a few times,the little puppy was sweet,it really was."Hi."He chuckled,patting the puppy's head.Hiruko never really dealt with animals let alone baby animals until now.

Ven watched the two.The puppy took its paws off Hirukos knees, and walked over to Ven.The puppy jumped onto Vens lap, and licked Ven on the cheek.Then went back over Hiruko."At least its friendly.." Ven said.

"That's a good thing."Hiruko said with a chuckle.Poor thing,he wondered where he had come from.The dream eater glanced around,where did he come from?

Ven reached out and gently petted the puppies back.Is it a runaway...or owned..or does it even have anything.A family..a home.. he wondered.

Hiruko watched the tiny puppy,he stood up."..What should we do with the little one.."Hiruko asked Ven as he smiled at the pup.

"Not sure" he answered. Ven gently ran his fingers down the puppys back, repeatably."What if it doesn't have an owner?" Ven asked.

Hiruko bit his lip,was Ven really asking the one person that went from town to town?Animals would only cause him problems for Hiruko."I guess we would have to find it a home."Hiruko suggested.

Not Vens best action.But how could they find it a home right now..everyone was asleep.Then again, Ven might could take it home..until they could..

Hiruko rubbed his temple a bit,"Well?"He asked,wondering what Ven thought of his idea.

"I Agree" Ven said.Well, there was his vote.But if the plan went through, it would have to wait at least until morning.

"However,we can't do anything right now so might as well keep the puppy for tonight."Hiruko said,everyone in this town was asleep,and knocking one people doors asking if they wanted a puppy didn't sound smart nor fun.

Ven nodded in agreement, as he still sat on the sidewalk.It would result the same way it did for people trying to sell cookies to rude people.They would get a door slammed in their face.

He looked up at the moon,the night was slowly slipping away.He figured that it was around ten or ten thirty now,and they found a puppy.Hiruko looked down at the two.
