It probably was, but Ven had no interest in looking at his watch, to find out what time it was.Ven watched the puppy, which now was chasing after its tail.

The dream eater grinned at the puppy,it really was cute."..Hmm,I wonder if the pups hungry."Hiruko said,watching it chase it's tail.He really wouldn't doubt that.how long had it been out here anyways?

Ven watched the pup go round, and round, and round after its tail, but failing to catch it."I wouldn't be surprised if it was" Ven said.It didn't look like it was skin and bones, but it didn't look full either.

He looked around,great where were they going to get food from?At least the pup was currently occupied by it's tail so that did give them some time to get some idea of what to do.Hiruko sighed,rubbing the back of his neck as he looked down at the young pup again.

"We could get some food from my house" Ven offered."It would be human food..but I guess for the pup it wouldn't matter" he said.The pup caught its tail, but it yipped in pain when it bit its own tail.

"That's our best choice."Hiruko agreed with a curt nod.He then winced and then he chuckled at the little puppy."We may want to hurry,or the pup may not have a tail."He joked light heartdly.

The pup went back to chasing its tail, as if it wanted to say sorry to its tail.Ven laughed at the puppy, it would learn eventually.Ven picked the puppy up, then stood up himself."Let's go" Ven said, and headed off towards his house, carrying the puppy.

Hiruko stretched a bit,and then followed Ven.It was nice to know where the pup would be for a night,perfectly safe and content.The dream eater laughed at how he was so concerned about the little one so much,in truth,whether he realized it or not Hiruko really did have a soft spot for animals.

The puppy wagged its tail, which probably had a bite mark on it, since puppy teeth are sharp, but it didn't seem to mind the mark.Ven walked through the night until they arrived at the foster home again.

Hiruko followed Ven,silent as his blue gaze wandered from thing to building,and then to Ven's foster house.That was a quick walk,but then again his mind kept wandering the whole time they walked here.

It felt like a long walk to Ven, then again, he had the playful puppy moving about in his arms.Not that he cared.Ven walked to the front door, and went inside, leaving the door opening for Hiruko.

Hiruko glanced over his shoulder,and then followed Ven inside shutting the door behind him very softly.They couldn't have anyone waking up now could they.

Ven carried the puppy to the kitchen quietly.He said the puppy down, but as if it knew that food was coming soon, it stayed in the kitchen instead of running throughout the house, which Ven was glad of.Cause honestly, he wasent sure if his foster mom and dad would agree with keeping a puppy overnight.

Hiruko chuckled quietly,so it was hungry.good thing he had thought of that earlier rather than not thinking about it at all,"Okay..what can it have without bothering it's stomach?"Hiruko thought aloud,looking at the puppy with a warm smile.

"Looking" Ven said.It would be his luck if they came up with a food the pup could eat, and him not have it.The puppy walked over to Hiruko, wagging its tail back and forth.

"Okay."Hiruko said softly,he then looked at the small pup."Hey little one."He greeted the pup as he knelt down in front of it,and then scratched it behind an ear.

The small puppy seemed to like being scratched behind the ears.Ven had absolutely no pet food, so he just had to make something.He just mixed a bunch of small, dry foods together, and set it on the floor in a cheap plastic bowl.The puppy was more then likely old enough to et that kind of stuff..but he knew what not to give it.The puppy left Hiruko for the food.

Hiruko chuckled again,and then stood up.The dream eater tilted his head a bit,the puppy did seem pretty hungry,"Hmm..poor guy."He muttered quietly.

Ven watched the puppy eat from where he stood.At least neither him, or Hiruko were heartless people that would have left the puppy to fend for itself.

"It must be around five weeks old."Hiruko said watching the pup eat.He figured that much since baby animals didn't really walk around or see until three to four weeks,and the little one seemed to be walking pretty well on it's own.Still,five weeks old was young to be alone.
