Ven looked away, "kinda" he said.Ven felt a drop of water fall and land on his face, he looked up at the sky, feeling another drop of water land on him..

That was a relief,even if Ven looked away he just figured that Ven was also still thinking about everything.He stopped,"..what?"He asked,seeming confused.

Ven didnt answer, the sky did for him.Not even seconds later, it started to rain.Just their luck, thanks alot sky! Ven was trying his best not to think about it..

"Rain?"Hiruko blinked,a little stunned.Wasn't the moon out just a few minutes ago?He laughed a bit,and then he looked over at Ven still laughing."This is random.."He remarked,once avian finding something amusing in the world.

(The moon was covered by clouds..)

Ven looked at Hiruko and smiled , "very random" he said, already starting to get soaked.Can't say it didn't get their minds off the old subject.

{Ohh...I thought I read..well at least he didn't say it!}
"But,we may want to get out of the rain.."He paused looking around,somehow.."Hiruko wasn't sure how much further they were from Ven's house,on top of not being really sure of where to go to get out of the rain.All well,the rain was actual pretty nice anyways,wet,but nice.

Ven looked around at the rain a moment, the light from the street lights seemed to reflect off it.He looked at Hiruko, "I don't see any shelter" he said, officially soaked.

"Nor do I.."He said,judging by how he shivered Hiruko was also soaked to the bone which was never really fun for him.

Ven looked around, looking for shelter."Should we just run for it, and hope we're near home?"

{Ahah,I kinda figured,Lor is a you tuber,and lolita is a popular Japanese fashion.}

"Yeah,let's try that."Hiruko agreed with a curt nod,anything to get out of the rain at this point.He looked forward,he thought he could see Ven's house,"..I don't think we're that far."He said,running towards the house.

Ven ran too, following behind Hiruko.He didn't have night vision, or anything, so he couldn't tell if they were near his house or not.

Hiruko kept running,it was his house,thank god.He stopped running once he got to the gate,glaceing back at Ven to see if he was still behind him.Which,he was,"We're here."He said,still slightly Stu of breathe.

Ven stopped running, and looked up at the house once they got there.Thank goodness.Ven opened the gate, and went through.

Hiruko followed behind Ven with a shiver,he was also happy that they made it back to his house.Even if they were already soaked to the bone."This is a good thing.."Hiruko said with a strained smile.

Ven was shivering too.It showed, Ven looked back at Hiruko, "y-yeah" he said."Come on.." Ven said, walking towards the house again.

Hiruko followed silently ,he was pretty much jogging rather than walking.At the moment being inside sounded like the best idea.

Ven walked to the door, and opened it."Mom!" He yelled almost, it wasent late, so he wouldn't be waking anybody up.Plus, he knew she would kill him if him or Hiruko, or both, if they tracked water throughout the house.Vens foster mom entered the room seeing the two were soaked.She went and got two towels.

Hiruko set his cane against his leg and crossed his arms,trying to keep himself from shivering a bit.The dream eater reached for one of the towels,"..thanks."he said softly.He was glad that she didn't ask him about his parents,because that would be hard to explain.You could tell he wasn't homeless,but he simply didn't have parents.

Ven took a towel himself too."Your welcome" she said looking at Hiruko, with a smile.She didn't question, she just figured he had a late curfew or something."Where were you two?" She asked."Exploring town.." Ven said, not wanting to mention the haunted house, of getting posessed.There was a lot of things she didn't know about him.For all she knew, he was human.He always hid that fact from her, if he scraped his knee as a kid, he'd deal with it on his own.If he lost a baby tooth, he'd wash the purplr blood off it before showing her, as a kid.

Hiruko shivered again,the dream eater realized just how big of an impact today had on him.Being around human beings was making him a bit paranoid,more than he already was since he knew about hunters..he just never knew what they did,justified or not.He looked away from Ven's foster mother and said nothing.So much for trying to forget what happened earlier,but that wouldn't be that easy with him.Because when he had went to wrap himself in the towel he recalled the burns.An annoying reminder of what he saw and found out.He looked at one of his palms,still no good,his palms were still burnt pretty badly.
