"Agreed" Ven said.He looked over at the sleeping man, "I see you put my entertainment to sleep" he said."He was the only one who really saw the elephant" he said, looking back at Hiruko.

"What else could I do, I don't enjoy people that perch things in my face.Besides, dare I say he seemed a bit tired."Hiruko told Ven, which was true to Hiruko at least.The only person that saw the elephant?Was that suppose to be a joke,or not? Still, Hiruko showed a fanged smile of pure amusement, and then he just started laughing.

"I made him see the elephant" Ven confessed."That's something else I discovered over the years" he said with a smile."I csn create illusions," he said, hoping his friend wouldn't think he was a freak with that in mind.Ven saw the fangs Hiruko had now, and he had noticed the pointed ears earlier.

Hiruko stopped laughing, but didn't stop laughing,"I figured it was you, seems like I'm not the only that changed after all."Hiruko replied.Hiruko had a very open mind about things and other beings, one could say when he found out what he was, was when reality slapped him in the face.And with the way certain human beings reacted he found it really hard not to accept other people , or half human half something.That was against what he believed in.

"Well, i can name three things dofferent about you,Fangs, pointed ears, and you can put people to sleep.Ven didnt judge by species, or ability, or even intellegence.He judged by nothing, 99% of the time.Vens eyes changed color again,Randomly, Just to be silly he made an illusion mustache on Hiruko.Everyone could see the mustache, not just them.

Hiruko shut his mouth, he forgot about that.All well, he knew now so what did it matter, right?"Yeah...uh?"Hiruko blinked a few times.Oh Ven, the teenage boy chuckled,"Oh honestly."He chuckled again after he noticed the mustache on his face.

Ven smiled.Atleast he was still the random Ven that Hiruko knew.That would probably never change despite his age.He was like the clown of the friendship, sorta.Always being a random goofball.He just did it without the stupid outfit, and dumb red nose.And the make up and face full of paint.Some can call him immature, but who cared, better to be fun than dull and boring anyday.Ven laughed a tiny bit at Hirukom with his new mustache.

He missed this, this was one of the things that could have helped Hiruko through certain things.His much darker days."Hahah, should we walk around for a little while?"He asked his old friend.He really wasn't going to let the mustache stay there if they walked around, the thing felt weird on him. Oh but the reactions would be amusing to watch.

Ven shrugged, "sure" he said looked at his mustache friend.Ven was the one who chose rather the mustache stayed there or not.He kinda thought the reactions would be amusing as well.Come one come all, come see the boy who appeared 13, who has a thick mustache.

Hiruko stepped out of the alleyway with a sigh, he guess getting rid of this thing would have to wait.He grabbed onto the middle part of his cane, and then started walking forward.The thirteen year old boy did stop long enough to see if Ven was coming or staying in the alleyway."Hmm."

Ven watched Hiruko walk out of the alley way.Ven stood up, revealing just how much taller he really was and followed Hiruko.Ven took a final look at the man just ting a snooze on the con create.

"Oh the fates are too cruel to me.."Hiruko said,he was looking up at Ven.Still, this was nothing new to him, he understood that he could be stuck like this for a while.Or for as long as he lived."Anyways."He said with a shake of his head,at some point constantly looking up was going to hurt his neck.At least he was fine for now.

Ven wasent much a fan of being this tall, he wouldn't care to lose a few inches in height.But that wouldn't happen so oh well, live with what you got.Ven had to look down at Hiruko, but he didn't mind that."..How, was moving away..?" Ven asked barely, but curious.Was it better, or words than expected..

"..the biggest mistake my 'parents' would ever make."Hiruko told Ven bluntly. The boy's eyes began icy within seconds of saying this,"You see, that's around the time I found out what I was.."He said softly, Hiruko recalled the three weeks he had been confined to his bed. He shuddered.

"It may not be any of my business.." Ven started, "but can I know more?" He asked.Deep inside Ven was curious, he wanted to know what happened to his friend while he was away.What happened within 12 years.

Hiruko stopped, he spun on his heel and then stopped when he faced Ven."..I got sick, well sicker according to my parents.In truth,I was killing myself by eating human food,but I didn't know that."Hiruko took a step forward,"Any time I eat human food,or drink anything other then water I have a tendency to cough up blood.My parents found that odd,and got really scared when I simply couldn't move anymore.So they did what any parents would do, they called a doctor."Hiruko trailed off,his eyes seemed to dull a bit.Recalling all of this seemed a lot harder then he thought it would be.The boy looked away from Ven.

Ven played close attention as Hiruko spoke."What, do you eat, if you can't eat actual food?" Ven asked at a point when Hiruko paused.When Hiruko silenced a little, Ven spoke up and said, "you don't have to keep saying if you don't want to.." He said, just to owt him know.

Hiruko looked up at Ven,"..yeah, that's enough of story time anyways."He agreed softly.What would Ven say to him about eating dreams and nightmares, mainly nightmares.Of course Hiruko would soon find out,"If I tell you..you could be a bit confused."Hiruko told Ven with a chuckle.

"Nuh uh" Ven told him.How confusing could it possibly be? He didn't believe it could be that confusing.

"I eat dreams and nightmares, mainly nightmares."Hiruko told Ven.He preferred nightmares over most dreams, the dreams he eat were one of two things. Had a weird after taste, or tasted like someone stuffed at least twelve pounds of surge into a largish marble.Way to sweet for Hiruko.
