Evvie looked at the mouse for a moment before ruffling the top of its head. "It sure is." She said with a smile, looking back out the window.

"I guess I should introduce myself, seeing as how even though I'm speaking to a fairy it might be odd to see a talking mouse. My names patch. And along with a snake named hebi, I'm miss rikas familiar." The mouse bowed.

Evvie got up and bowed in response. "And I am Evvie. It is nice to meet you." Evvie smiled at the mouse.

A snake slithered its way up so he could look at the two. "Hello there. I understand you'll be traveling with me rika from now on, is that correct?"

Evvie nodded, bringing her legs up to her chest and resting her head on her knees, though her figure still hovered in the air. "That is correct. We're leaving tomorrow."

The snake bowed his head. "I'm miss rikas second familiar. As of tomorrow we will be travelling with you. Although you won't see us."

(Its alright with me.)

(Its fine with me too^^) Evvies head tilted slightly. "Whys that?" She asked curiously.

Sitting in a tree branch outside of the homes Chase was writing in a journal as the tree branch began creaking and as he got up on the branch to get off it broke beneath his feet and he fell to the ground journal on top of him as he laid face down on the ground with a large thud

"A mages familiar when she doesn't need them is sent to a pocket world during travel. So unless she needs us while you're walking you won't see us." Patch explained. Rika awoke from her sleep with a fright. "Something outside just fell! Come on evvie lets go see what it was." Rika jumped out of her bed and ran outside still in her pajamas carrying her staff. When she saw the boy on the ground she ran over to him. "Are you alright mister?"

Evvie was shocked by the sudden noise outside and her head shot towards the window. When Rika got up and went outside, she followed her to make sure she wouldn't get herself into trouble or get hurt. She stopped behind Rika, out of sight of the boy on the ground.

It took a moment for Chase to start moving again and when he sat upright he felt his nose, it had been popped out of place so he had to breathe through his mouth. He held up a hand with his index finger pointed upwards "give me a moment" he said and placed both hands on his nose popping it back in place a large cracking sound emitting from his nose and then he started moving it around "yeah i'm fine, didn't think I would fall that far, never had happened before" he said taking his journal and closing it then shortly afterwards placing it in his bag

"What happened to you mister? Did you fall out of the tree?" Rika asked, always concerned about people no matter who they were.

Evvie flinched when the guy cracked his nose. She stayed hidden in Rikas hair, watching the guy cautiously as if he might strike at any moment.

Chase looked up at the tree kind of curious "probably, the branch did break although I might have just tripped and fallen off either way, yeah I fell off" he said the checked for any other broken bones and stopped at his legs "well, luckily only my nose popped out of place this time" he said as it glowed blue slightly for a moment then faded back to normal

Rika gasped when his nose gowed blue. "Can you do magic too mister? Hold on lets get you inside and then we can talk." Rika began to drag the boy into her house.

Evvie kept her eyes glued to the boy, and silently praised Rika for being such a kind girl. Crawling more out of her hiding place, Evvie observed the boy more carefully, trying to detect anything else that would lead her to believe that he could use magic when Rika mentioned it.

Chase was shocked as the girl who he just met dragged him into her house "wait... doesn't your parents have any rules about strangers?" he asked slightly scared to go into someones home without knowing them in the least

Rika opened the door and turned to face him, smiling. "Its okay. You don't give off an energy of bloodlust or evil, so I trust you. Mom is awake reading one of her spell books trying to practice her magic again so if she doesn't like you, she'll come out and burn you probably. Here, sit down mister." Rika offered out a chair to the man.
