She stepped on a lot of twigs in the forest and crunched in a lot of leafs. She smiled as the moon welcomes her moon kissed skin.
"What was that?" Luneth asked, hearing weep move around outside. "Its probably just a raccoon or something. Don't worry about it." Tenuul reassured him.
A large crash came from her hitting over a stack of fire wood.cshe cringed and booked it to the forest hiding behind a tree that was hollow and crawled inside the tiny space.
"That wasn't a raccoon." Luneth said when he heard the crash. Leaving tenuul to his reading, luneth walked outside and began to look for anything suspicious.
Her footsteps went in the dirt and mud into the forest but it didn't follow her into the actual tree.
Luneth looked down and saw footprints. "Whoever you are, I know you're out there. Come out now and I won't hurt you. If you make me look, there's a chance I'll be pissed when I find you and stab you."
She flinched at his words and she was afraid to step out or he might beleive she was running away. She curled up in her stump and looked around for an exit. She stepped on a twig that was inside the log and she held still.
Luneth quickly turned around, his sword at the ready. "Who's there?! Come out of your hiding!"
She didn't breath. A low growl came from her throat hoping he would think it was a wolf. Then she screamed hoping he would thing someone was being attacked.
"If you're trying to fool me whoever you are, you need to know to get a deeper tone when you growl. I know what a wolf sounds like. The scream was a nice touch though." Luneth took a couple steps forward into the darkness, unknowingly walking closer to weep. "Now this is your last chance. Come out before I have to hurt you."
She didn't move or make a sound. Her heart heated faster then it ever has. She coughed and made the perfect elderly woman sound."p-please...sir.....m-my body is frail....I-I....mmmmean no harm at all....I am passing by....."
Luneth sheathed his sword. "Oh, I'm sorry ma'am. Here come inside for some shhelter and something warm to drink." Luneth went further into the darkness looking for the source of the voice.
She sighed softly and she wrapped darkness around herself. Once it was gone she was completely elderly. She crawled out of the crack. Her hair done up in a bun, pure white. Paleish dirty face and green eyes. Her face was wrinkly but kind. Her clothing were rags and she had a walking cane. She looked at him and seemed to be afraid. "I-I'm sorry for the fright...."
"Oh you poor thing. Come on lets get you inside." Luneth picked the old women up and put her on his shoulders, carrying her inside. "Tenuul! We have a visitor! Prepare some tea that I brought in the book bag." Tenuul took a bag of tea and a kettle out of the bag and put it on a stove nearby.
She smiled softly at him And sat on the couch. She looked at Tenuul smiling politely as if her eyes were terrible." Well hello kind sir."she said and looked at Luneth."I really mustn't stay too long...I mustn't be late for my grandsons wedding."
"Your going to a wedding? Whats your grandson and his fiance like?" Luneth sat and smiled at her.
She blinked and smiled lightly." Well.... My grandson lived with the se right family for a while.....he was a nomad and such. Fought to defend his people and such yes. The woman he's marrying is an undead...trust me her family does not approve..." She stated plainly mixing stuff. She had to keep from smiling that she remembered about him and she did well with keeping the straight face." He's very handy with making fire...haven't seen him in....four years."
Luneth was amazed. "Wow, someone in my family getting married. Probably one of my cousins. Lucky dog. Wish I could get married. Another friend of mine lives here as well, but she's asleep so I won't wake her up. She's a really nice person. If I married her, I think I'd be the happiest man alive." Luneth sighed. "But I don't think she would. Not to mention its a bit early to discuss marriage."
She had to contain her feelings right now she hid it within her wrinkly skin." Ah...my dear. How would you know that unless you asked her. You never know...I got married to a senright. Yes he was quite the lovely brute but he was very gentle...married him only a day after we met...true love at first sight...that is until those demons....killed him..." She managed to make a tear slide out of her eye and she smiled quickly dismissing it. "However. You are a very handsome boy...she must be pretty. You should ask.....you never know."
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that. She is very beautiful. I don't know why, but sometimes I worry that she'll run away in the middle of the night and leave me here. Was your husband killed in the horde invasion about size years ago?" Luneth asked.
