The man stepped away from the sword and growled showing a large row of sharp teeth."how can she be your friend? She's a pathetic waste.....you're just going to wind up killed." He said. This caused her to back behind Luneth.

"I don't care! I'll protect her even if I die because I don't have any other friends! If I lose her I'm all alone again!" Luneth continued to try and strike at the man.

Eventualy the man growled in pain as one of his limbs fell off. Her eyes widened and darkness formed around her. She soon held a shadow bow and shot an arrow at his other arm causing him to drop it and e growled in pain and it showed a wide chest strike would defeat him. She looked at him and gulped.

Luneth held his sword to the man's neck. "Now, I'll give you two choices. One, you can live this girl alone and never bother her again. Or two, you can die right here. Your choice, hurry up and make it."

He growled and snapped at the blade cutting his lip. He winced and disappeared, she knew it was for good this time. She fell to her knees and hugged his legs."t-thank you..."

Luneth's face turned bright red. "You're welcome." He said. Luneth began to try to walk away but didn't realize she was holding onto his legs and he fell into the water.

She gasped as he fell in the water. She jumped in and came to the surface her dark hair spread over her face and she couldn't see anything."hey...who turned out the moon?"

Luneths head broke the surface and moved weeps hair out of her face for her. "That better? I know my face isn't exactly the best the best to come out of water and see."

She blushed a light crimson color over her pale face. She looked at his face and into his eyes." That's...not true at all. You um..you have a nice face" she said smiling.

Luneth blushed again. "S-so do you. Here, I'll help you put of the water." Luneth got out of the water and offered his hand to weep.

She nodded and smiled softly. She grabbed his hand lightly with hers and took a step up. " uh....seems you keep saving me today..."

Luneth shrugged as he sat down on the ground in front of the water taking his now wet shoes off. "If you feel you didn't need saving, I apologize. I just don't like it when people try to take advantage of others. That and, well, I couldn't let him marry you. You're too beautiful to be married to someone with a crooked way of looking at life."

She blushed deeply and nodded looking down." Thanks...I actualy could use a lot of saving..I'm not arrogant enough......" She giggled and smiled at him."everyone has their weak spots, some more obvious than others"

"I don't know what my weakness is. Maybe I'm too kind. Because I get the feeling that that man will try to do something stupid again. And if he does, I'll be right here to beat him up!"

She couldn't help but giggle a bit at this."alright....I'll be here to cheer you on." She smiled and started to wring her hair out.

Luneth sat and rang his own hair out. "Thanks." Luneth smiled at her. "Sometimes I wish I was like other boys and cut my hair when it got this long."

"Oh I actually think it's very lovely....." She said and ran her fingers into his hair smiling."it's soft.....and like you."

"You think so? My siblings and cousins used to make fun of me for it. Even the girls. I think the only person who didn't pick on me about it was my mother. And you now, I guess." Luneth continued to get out as much water as possible.

She smiled and looked down at her feet. They were bare and slim. Her entire figure was slim. Her body frame was a little muscular but not very."so.....why don't you cut your hair?"

"Because its one of my only memories of my mother. I got a letter two months ago saying that the families camp had been attacked. My mother... They couldn't find her afterward. Only a little bit of the family is left, including me. I shut down for a long time, physically and mentally when it happened. I stopped eating and moving, so I ended up getting pretty skinny. I'm just glad tenuul finally got me to eat." Luneth put his hand on his hair and undid the ponytail, causing it to fall down his back.
