Your boat has been destroyed by a heavy storm, leaving you floating in the middle of the ocean clinging for life to debris. You float for a while, starving and lost in search of any land as the depths below your feet hold threatening terrors. When you lose hope you see a small sailboat heading towards you, The Floating Mercy and shout as loud as you can to get it's attention. Thankfully they hear you and come to your rescue, a young sailor leans over to grab your hand the lone captain having a air of adventure. Do you take their hand or do you risk the open sea?
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance is slightly desired, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
