The Elves (played by BB-Neesan)

Beyond the golden valley
and over the midnight sea
there lies a hidden fortress
made for you and me

When beginning meets the end
i will be waiting
lost and looking, you're old friend
ready to begin the ending

A song had been sung in the valley for years, and this sets the stage for two interesting characters to cross paths. A quiet place, the valley was always full of the gentle sounds of nature. That is, until the recen't blights that have befallen the land. It seems there was no end to the filth and rot that spread throughout. The plants came down with the black first, bending and wilting under the weight of the thick mucus. The stock took the knee next, muck heavy in their lungs. The farmers didn't know what to do but to turn tot heir resources and eat their beasts, blighted or not. It was then that it jumped to man. The children blowing it from their noses on their way to and from their schools. A community this small took ill quickly, and thus the blight took hold. The taverns business even felt the weight of the blight, bending under the pressure as did the stalks of corn in the fields. For one hiding Bard, this was a troublesome issue. No tavern goers means no coins, and thus it was easy to find and sing a sad song.

A song as old as the Valley itself, a song that spoke of how the day and the night fell in love and were seperated by the midnight darkness. The jealousy of the midnight sky taking the world and thrusting it into night. The only way to fight back was for day and night to create noon. The brightest part of the day where night tucked herself away and all the deep dark was taken from the land. Lately it felt there was no noon, no daylight, in The Valley. It was so oppressive, and it was felt in the Tavern music this night as Aaramis started slowly singing the tale he learned years ago. His eye trained on the table in the corner with a hooded figure.
