What are they? I've seen them here, and on Deviant Art, and I can make guessed based on what I've seen, but assumptions can only go so far.

what are they? How do they work? Is there a type of game that they can be used for?

Can an artist make them grow kind of like the "book worms" in grade school?

These things look awesome, and I want to know moooore.

well... they're just characters you can adopt! you just get one and do what you want with it; they aren't for any specific purpose most of the time. they're just drawings of characters. some do grow, but usually they are just characters that you can get, for roleplay or just to look pretty.

Interesting....are physical copies ever sent out, or is it all digital?

It depends on the artist I do not see any harm in asking if they do or not.

This is all very interesting, though I might be putting too much thought into it.

I remember a few years back seeing something like adoptables floating around. They were wolves I think?? And you started with a pup, and the artist you purchased from would grow the creature gradually. It was really cool.

Granted, the idea of adoptables are cool in general. Thank you guys for the information. ^^
