Geneviève listened intently, and nodded as he spoke of each member of his home. She led him into a shop which displayed fine dresses in the window, so Geneviève decided it was best to start there for the twins, and perhaps find some fabric for Judith. Immediately she began searching through the dresses, feeling the fabric through her gloves and tracing the embroideries with her delicate fingers. As expected of any rich woman, she didn't even look at prices until she would find the perfect dresses for the twins. On the opposite wall hung rows of fine fabric, all very high-quality but extremely expensive; she would have to get to that later.
Beau followed Genevieve in case she had any questions, but the woman seemed right in her element, lost in her own world even. He couldn't shake her want to give his family gifts -- whether intentional or not, Beau admitted he'd pegged the French girl as spoiled rotten when word got around that she was wealthy. He never would've suspected such thoughtfulness from someone so well-endowed; but then again, the old saying to never judge always did ring true.
"F-Find somethin'?" he asked patiently, not wanting Genevieve to think he was rushing her in any way.

Geneviève glanced back at him, smiling slightly. She motioned to a set of two dresses, similar in design and color scheme, and yet completely opposite. One was deep scarlet, with golden embroideries up the bodice and down the modest sleeves. The other was muted blue, with silver hemming and white lace over the bodice. "For Cecilia and Piper?" she asked, hoping he would give an opinion on the exquisite-looking dresses.
"Those are...b-b-beautiful." Beau managed to say, his eyes stuck on the fabric of each gown in awe. "Are you s-sure you don't m-mind payin' for this?" The last thing he wanted was for their to be a miscommunication in all of this -- Genevieve didn't have to buy such extravagant presents, but Beau could barely keep the growing smile off his face for much longer.
His sisters would love the gifts, he knew for certain.

Geneviève caught his smile, and knew she had chosen well. She waved a dismissive hand. "It is the least amount I can do." She smiled in return to him, then called for the shopowner to start wrapping the two dresses, while she walked to the wall of fabrics. Judith could make more clothes with the fabrics... So perhaps she could buy two or three kinds, to give the woman some colored variety in the clothing? But she hesitated. Hadn't the woman said something about money being bad? Perhaps she should just buy simple fabrics so that they could wear the clothes Judith made with the fabrics instead of keeping them hidden away, like the envelope full of money. She held her chin between her thumb and middle finger, while her index finger tapped her cheek as she thought over this predicament.
Beau watched Genevieve's contemplative stare for a good while before deciding to intervene, walking beside her slowly as not to break her of her thoughts too fast, much like a nightmare. "What'cha think-thinkin' 'bout?" he questioned, mockingly adopting the same hand position and tapping his chin.
It was all in jest of course, shown by the way that grin grew across his face once more. She really was taking her time throughout these purchases -- the thought was what counted, and Leclair was definitely giving it her all in that department.

Geneviève glanced at him, and after a smile spread over her lips she couldn't contain a soft laugh at the way her copied her. She shook her head, still smiling. "What fabrics are best?" she asked, gesturing to the wall. Perhaps he could aid her in making these purchases where she felt torn and unable to do so.
