Finally an Inn

Night had fallen hours ago, along with a downpour that created a nice mixture of rain, sleet, and even a little hail. Just a few hours earlier Shita would have boasted that no element could beat her. She was the best, could manipulate any of them, and dared any bit of weather to challenge her!


That was before she realized just how much she hated rain. And just how much little blocks of ice hurt as they pinged against her flesh. Now, far into nature's latest lesson to the young girl, Shita had finally managed to discover the Inn's thick oak door. Shita would later swear that she could hear her fingers crack from the cold as she wrapped a hand around the door handle, gave a massive tug, and rushed into the warmer room as quickly as she could.

Once inside, and officially soaked from head to toe, the redhead leaned her back against the wall right beside the door, slumped to the ground, and allowed her head to relax against both knees. The bag she normally carried around with her landed on the ground with a thunk, and glass tinkled under her tunic.

Shita was not a happy camper.

the little girl has been walking by when she saw the lady sitting on the floor. her long white hair and long white dress where flowing in her own wind that surrounded her. her big grey eyes looking at the lady. she decided to walk over to her. "hey lady, can I get you a towel or something or blow you dry? your really wet and you could get sick." the little girl said with a smile.

Rheyr looked up from his little trick as another soaked patron came in. There was a group of people, young and old, gathered around the fireplace where he was doing his magic tricks. He grinned at the new soaking lady and took a few twirling steps right up to her.
"Madame! What you need, you see, is to stop jumping into lakes!" This produced some laughter from the group at the fire. He took her hand and pulled her to her feet, tugging her along to stand in front of the fire. "Ladies and gentlemen, I think my new helper should dry off before she lets me perform one of my tricks, don't you?" The audience agreed, and he gave Shita a pushing little spin. With only one rotation, she was suddenly...dry.
Rheyr's eyes sparkled mischievously.

"Wuh...." Shita stumbled forward, too caught off guard by this strange man to do much more than make a panicked grab for her pack. By the time she was in front of the fire though, the girl had caught on that she was being made fun of.

"Now just one minute!" she flare up, balling one hand into a fist and shifting her weight to spin a bit faster than she normally would. "Whats the big idea, pulling me o.." Shita paused, looking down at both hands, then up again at the crowd.

"I'm dry." She stated, her face pale with shock. Then she took a better look at the man. His hair, his clothes, the way he stood. Her finger pointed shakily at him, her voice hoarse.

"You know magic!"

The crowd applauded excitedly, and Rheyr grinned as he was pointed at. He took the hand that had the pointed finger and kissed it like a gentleman would. "Magico the Magician, at your service, m'lady." He released her hand and straightened dramatically. "For my final trick, I shall buy the lady dinner!" The crowd looked at each other, confused, then back at Rheyr and Shita. Rheyr smiled and lifted up the back of her hair. "Pardon me, m'lady, but I don't think your neck is a good place to store dinner." he commented, his fingers brushing along the back of her neck.
As he slowly pulled away, along with it would come a full plate of food!! The crowd cheered and clapped, and as they got up and dispersed a few coins were placed in the hat nearby the magician. He handed the plate of delicious food over to Shita. "For your troubles, m'lady."

She was still gaping at him, now rubbing the back of her neck in suprise, and so for a moment didn't react. Numbly Shita accepted the food, and sat it down on the nearest table. She was starving to be sure, and planned to eat it, but had things to do first. Much faster than she had been before the girl nearly charged towards this Magico the Magician to clasp one of his hands in both of her own.

"You know magic!" She repeated eagerly. "How much control do you have, do you know fire magic too, how strong are you, can you teach me how to control fire magic?!" She spoke really fast, her face up close to his if she could manage it, excitement and hope shinning in her eyes.

Rheyr was, admittedly, a bit surprised at his new fan, but he smiled proudly and nodded. "I do know magic, of course, you silly girl." He lifted a brow when she got so close and mentioned controlling fire magic. He smiled and took a step back, gesturing a hand towards the fireplace. It sparked and fizzled, and little flame figures started moving around along the logs. "Easily, my dear. But first, you should give me your name! After all, we truly should be acquainted before we begin to play with fire." He winked.

She blushed softly, but grinned brightly up at him. "Shita Simuo!" She announced, no longer paying any attention to the crowd around them. What other people cared or though didn't matter. It had been so long since she had a magic teacher! One hand clasped against her shirt, feeling for the small vial underneath it's fabric. Soon brother she thought, I'll catch up to your abilities. I'll find you.

Rheyr smiled at her. "It is a pleasure to meet you, miss Simuo. You can call me Magico!" He waved his hand lightly and walked over to sit down contently, conjuring up his own meal with a simple tap of the table. Yes, he was absolutely showing off. "Now, what exactly do you need my help with concerning your fire magic?" He munched his meal calmly, watching her as he waited for a response.
