Crab Farm is one of those unusual towns found in the northern kingdoms. It's located on the clearing just at the southern edge of Lake Fogosh in the middle of lush forests of Cargaanocs Kingdom.
In the north the one could see in the distance the peaks of Noo mountain range which acted as the northern border of the kingdom. As the mountains curved to the south one tall peak emerged from them and acted like natural lookout over the kingdom. Locals called this peak as Lighthouse peak.
On the west past the forest was another range of mountains called Mentana and the far side of them on the south western edge lied the Dwarven free city of Menta Dunos. The mentanan mountains continued to the south befre part of them splitted to east acting as another natural border. These highlands used to be part of the Cargaanocs in the past but after the plague war Orcs had settled on the narrow highland area at the foothills of southern mountains. They never had officially received any land but as time had shown the border of the forest have became as the divider between humans and the orcs. Finally on the east lied the Great Northern Highway. Major trade route from the northern kingdoms and the south. Beyond this highway, alongside it ran The Great Blue, a massive river that had its roots far on the glaciers of Khjoirson where it flew past many kingdoms until it ended to the Southern Sea. At the riverbank on the north east corner of the kingdom was Garoz, the capital of Cargaanocs.
The reason why this town was unusual was the herd of giant crabs living on the lake and nearby wet forest area. These crabs were up to 1 meter tall and 3 meter wide with exceptional intelligence... for a crab.
Because the kingdoms interest towards the giant crabs for the combat purposes the town had small permanent garrison which was in charge for raising and training the crabs, and those unsuitable for the task were known as the delicacy of the town.
The garrison had a small, simple fort built at the lakeside. Right next to the main road that ran through the town from north to south. Beside the fort was local blacksmith and townhall and bit to the south was modest temple built like all the other buildings of logs.
The temple acted aside from the religious services also as the school for the kids of the town and provided treating to any diseases and severe wounds people would have.
The entire town was surrounded by 4 meter tall wooden wall which kept wildlife away. Having 2 gates on the road and Watergate blocking the crabs from escaping or anyone capable of swimming to enter through the river.
Most of the townspeople lived on the easter side of the road, scattered around the market square or close to the south gate nearby the temple.
There was also a tavern at the side of the market square.
