One day you were taking a walk through the woods when you found a treehouse. upon climbing the lader you come upon a darkwood door with a paper note that says "Do not enter"

what do you do?

The Marine saw the note "I guess it's a restricted area" he said with a chuckle

He'd heard Adrian, looking through a window

He kept walking away from the treehouse

the sound of the door unlocking could be heard from the treehouse

The Marine heard it, but didn't pay it much mind as he continued his walk.

He'd exited the treehouse and called out to adrian "Uh-- hi"

Adrian turned around and addressed the kid rather kindly "yeah, what's up?"

"What are you doing here?" He asked

He chuckled a bit "I didn't know I needed clearance to walk through the woods." his tone of voice wasn't rude at all

"I'm not used to people coming through here-- "

A woman walked up to the treehouse and looked at the marine. "What is this? I do not understand why a child would make asign restricting entrance to this sad structure."

he stared at cyphrus

The woman stared back. "Why are you staring at me? I am correct."

The Marine stared at the woman "it's because it belongs to him.....her.....whatever. The kid can allow whoever the kid wants into his her treehouse"


His attention went back to Lee "I walk through here all the time to have a sandwich and read my Bible a little ways away from here under a certain tree. It feels like it's just me and God getting to hang out"

The woman cocked her head to the side. "I do not understand how an inferior person to you can dictate your actions." She turned to the kid. "Are you like me?"

"nobody ever comes through"

Adrian's head snapped to the woman. His voice became quite dark "watch what you say". The Marine had zero tolerance for bullies and he usually dealt with them harshly.

He clearly got scared as he jerked back by the sudden movement

Adrian's face grew disgusted with the woman before going to Lee. His voice and face instantly softened before he put a hand on Lee's shoulder and walking the boy away "don't listen to her. You're not lesser than anybody, kid"
