Percy finally approached the last door in his route and he knocked on the door lightly.
"Hello. Is anyone home?" he asked rhetorically, with a hint of shyness in his voice. "I'm the cabin boy, I'll be tending to you on this trip?"

Viola looked up from her book when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in." She said after hearing the voice explain why they were there. She had picked up that the voice was male, so that is all she knew. She was staying on the ship for this trip because her father suggested that it would be good for her to try it out and meet new people. She never understood why he wanted her to meet new people but she decided to go with it.

The gryphon boy stepped into the room and gave Viola a shy smile. "Hello, Miss. My name is Percy. I will be serving you on this trip from six in the morning until midnight. All you need to do is press this button," he gestured to a button on the wall, "And I'll be with you in ten minutes or less Is there anything you need at the moment?" he asked her with a slight flutter of his wings. The little speech he just gave was obviously one he had repeated many many times.

Viola was a bit surprised to see someone close to her age working here. She stood up and walked over to Percy "It is nice to meet you Percy. I'm Viola." She said, stretching out her hand to him. She was trying to be friendly, just so her father wouldn't bother her about being quiet.

He hesitated before shaking her hand. He couldn't quite remember the last time he shook a passenger's hand since he was expected to simply bow.
"It's very nice to meet you, Miss Viola," he's aid with a respectful nod of his head. "I am simply checking up for now, but is there anything you need of me before I go?"

Viola shook her head. "I rather you just call me Viola." She said with a friendly smile. She really didn't know how make a new friend, she didn't know this guy at all and he was suppose to serve her while on this trip. She was always bad at meeting new people and talking.

Percy himself wasn't much different, but he could try making small talk, right?
"You look familiar... I don't remember your name but... Have you flown with us before...? Or a member of your family?

Viola nodded. "My father works here. He had asked me to come along several times." She said. "I only come to try to see the marine life in the oceans we past through."

"Oh? What position does he have? He must work in the bridge if your riding in first class," Percy smiled at her, his wolf tail wagging slightly.

That was always a question Viola tried to avoid because the fact that most acted different around her when they heard that she was the daughter of the Captain. "Hehe... He is the captain." She said, messing with her fingernails a bit.

His eyes widened a bit then he smiled even more warmly at her. "I like your father. He's very kind. He's a good man," the gryphon said with admiration in his voice. "I didn't know he had a daughter though. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Viola smiled at hearing that. "Yeah, he is a kind man. He was the one that suggested that I should study marine life since I go out and swim so much." She said, very fond of the memory.

"Well, if you don't need anything, I guess I'll be going. I come around once every three hours. If you need me before then, just press the button."

Viola nodded. "Alright. I hope we do become friends, Percy." She said with a bright smiled.

He blushed deep red and smiled.
"Th-thank you, Miss Viola," he bowed to her then backed out of the room.

In three hours, almost exactly, he knocked again on her door.

Viola giggled at seeing him blush so deeply over such a simple sentence.

During those three hours, Viola practiced some of her water tricks. She had been working on perfecting turning water into a dagger then freezing. She had it half frozen when she heard the knock, making her lose focus, the hilt fell to the ground along with the rest of the water on the floor. She had frozen enough to not break and she picked it up before answering the door. She smiled at Percy and opened the door more, letting him in.

"Hello again, Miss Viola. It's tea time. Would you like me to get you anything?" he asked her after stepping in. Now, unlike when the first met, he had a pair of dirty, brass goggles hanging around his neck.

"A rage would be fine. I had spilled some water when you knocked, startled me a bit." She knew it wasn't the best of lies, but it was believable, seeing as there was a glass half-empty on the bed side table.

"O-oh! I-I'm very sorry, ma'am! I'll clean it up right away!" he said with a furious blush anf grabbed a towel from his back pocket and quickly located then soaked up the water.
"N-now... Woukd you like some tea...?"

Viola could tell easily that this job meant a lot to Percy, but that he didn't get a lot of time to relax. "Sure, if you don't mind joining me." She said with a friendly smile. "You seem like you never really get a chance to relax much and act your age."
