"I have a small work bench in my room... And little soul crystals in each of their heads so that they think like the animal they are."
"Soul crystals? I never heard of those before." Viola looked up at him and smiled, actually interested in this. "It is neat how you can do this."
"They're little gems that can hold the bare essence of a creature. It's why these wolves hunt the stag or why the stag runs away. They're activated by friction, so that's part of what the key does," he smiled proudly, but still shyly.
"I see. This is really interesting. Was it hard to build these little guys." She said, smiling brightly. She hadn't seen anything like this before and was really interested in it.
He nodded again, "I made them all by hand... Sometimes I can't sleep so I just work on these."
Viola nodded. "This is really amazing though." She could see the little details as well, she picked up one of the ones that were wound up yet, it was a small little feline creature.
"That's a cheeatah... Hard to tell when it's just a solid color, but that's what it is. Wind it up," he urged and then wound up a giraffe.
Viola could see some of the similarities in the physical out look between the metal creature in her hand and a cheetah. She smiled and nodded then turned the little key and set it down on the table was the cheetah came to life.
The cheetah looked around, it's jointed tail flicking around until it spotted the giraffe, which was about three inches taller than the cheetah. The spindly creature began to awkwardly run away from the cheetah, who quickly closed in and pounced. The giraffe kicked the cheetah away and began running again.
Viola smiled at seeing all of this. "How where you able to get the soul crystals to hold the bare essence of these creatures?" She asked, watching all the animals interact and then looked up at the humming bird dart around the room.
"I have to buy them. I don't exactly have a lot to spend my money on, so I send 3/4 out my pay to my family an the rest I use for this little hobby," he explained as the hummingbird landed and died down.
Viola nodded. "I see. It is a very interesting hobby, how did you get into it?" She asked as she picked up the humming bird and wound it back up to let it fly again. She found all of this wonderful and great.
He shrugged, "I don't know... I just really like making things like this."
Viola nodded. "I can understand that feeling." She had a small smile on her lips, remembering all the fun she had creating new things and objects with water and ice.
"I started out making little automobiles and then tanks... Then animals. Animals are the most fun."
"I can tell." She thought for a second of showing Percy what she could do with water but then decided against it because even he wasn't human, he would probably react in a non-too pleasant way.
He smiled a little bit at her and began putting the animals back into the bag. "I'll take my leave now, Miss Viola," he bowed his head to her and started to leave.
"Wait! Wanna see something cool?" She asked with a bright and exicide smile. She then out stretched her palm and soon a small storm cloud formed but it let out snow into her palm.
He stopped and looked at her, then at her hand. When it began snowing, his eye went wide.
"Oh my god!!!" he exclaimed with a startled squawk, "That's awesome!" he smiled brightly.
"Oh my god!!!" he exclaimed with a startled squawk, "That's awesome!" he smiled brightly.
Viola smiled then closed her hand and the storm cloud disappeared. She then pointed at the cup of water on her desk then moved the water out of it. She then moved it closer to her then shaped it in the form of a rose with blossoming pealtes with a short stem.
