Rigel Owens is known at his high school for being “the loner”
He doesn’t speak to anyone, not much is known about him, and some people are honestly scared of the kid thanks to his random outbursts when being picked on. Now, no one bothers to talk to him, not even bullies.
After the first month of his senior year, his guidance counsellor somehow convinced Rigel to try auditioning for the school's play. And, to his horror, he somehow ended up with one of the lead roles.
Y/C is a pretty popular kid around school. They are a huge part of the theatre program and have been since they started high school. When Y/C learns about Rigel getting the role they auditioned for, and seeing that they were Rigel's love interest in the play, they are reasonably upset and are determined to get to the bottom of why a kid who's never done theatre stole his role.

This is an RP idea I've had floating in my mind for a bit and I've finally decided to post it! The RP is a romance MxM. I'm looking for a male character who is typically very bubbly and upbeat.
My writing style is 3rd person, past tense, and I tend to write up to five or six paragraphs near the beginning of the roleplay.
Now! The plot!
I've got some ideas for this but I am open to discussing any other ones or even branching off the ones I have listed!
1. Y/C and Rigel knew each other in elementary school and were good friends but drifted apart before high school (or got into a fight and stopped talking)
2. They’ve never heard of each other before and the play is the first time they're meeting.
3. Y/C secretly wants to be friends with Rigel but was never given the chance since Rigel never talks to anyone.
4. Y/C used to be one of the kids who bullied Rigel who ended up stopping due to a fight the two had.
