She held the child closely just as a way of saying, your not taking him."So we're all in trouble?! She asked.

He chuckled and reached out touching the pained child's cheek." If you somehow are able to kill him no..."

She glarred coldly at the creature."I'm not killing this child! Nobody is!" She said coldly, and determined to keep that word.She looked down and sighed..."Isn't there a solution...that doesn't involve killing him..?"

He chuckled and nodded."yes. " he started"I have to take him away and you'll never see him again. He will be on test tubes and defiantly has to bring his dark side out so we can kill it. Thn he won't live a normal life.

"I'll never .....see him again?" She asked..

He nodded. Unless you'd rather he suffer the pain and get it over with."

"If i kept him Would the pain ever stop? And if so, how long should it take?" She asked the creature yet another question.

"It should stop . However if the demon wins then it won't stop until his brain is strong enough."

Alex looked down at Xall, and wondered a thought aloud.."I wonder if magic could help him win, over the demon.."

The creature reached down and picked up the child."what is your choice?"

Alex looked at the creature, "give him back" she said.She wanted to keep him.

He sighed handing the kid over."and I was so looking forward to dinner...." He said and disappeared.

"Dream on," she remarked once he was gone.She looked down at Xall...man...could she help him¿

The boy whimpered and suddenly he began to shake violently. It was happening. He was now in full fight. Who will win the demon or the real child.

"Come on Xall..." she whispered watching the child."You can beat the demon.." she said.She even gave him some magic to help him, but nothing to much.

After long minutes of fighting and skin turning from pale to tan. The skin goes to normal and then his eyes open and green eyes stare up at her.

please tell me this isn't a trick.. she thought.She recalled in movies, the second you begin to cheer, then reality gives you a slap in the face.

"Mama.." He whispered and whined and cried softly gripping her shirt tightly-

She held Xall close..hopefully..he was normal-ish.

His breath became soft as he fell asleep in exhaustion from the long feat.
