The slimy object jiggled and made a weird slurping sound, and after a moment it had stopped. Just then another large banging noise was heard, the wall began denting in the far corner of the room behind the glass capsule, A loud roar was heard as slits began forming within the wall
She yelped hearing the banging and saw the wall being banged on. She slid under a lab table and huddled not understanding what was happening. She gripped her legs to her chest and took out a pocket knife. She looked at where it was coming from and she closed her eyes soon praying it wouldn't atrack.
As the large hole was ripped into the wall, the lights began flickering furiously and shut off, only a dim light remained and it was coming from the monsters itself. Although it carried a particular form, the most distinguishable part was it's beating chest which revealed its oddly shaped heart, it began slowly moving around the green slimy thing retreating into itself as it grew smaller, too small to even define its tentacles anymore. The beast made no noise except for its flopping footsteps as it moved around the room growing closer to the table
She wanted to run outside of the cottage now. She knew it was too late. She held the pocket knife close hoping it wouldn't be taking gear. Of cours there was a possibility the beast could be nice, fat chance.
The beast didn't bend down, although it's knees told a different story as if it couldn't bend down it wasn't made to, so it just walked away and out the door Myles had previously come in, the lights flickering back to life filling the room with light once more
She slid out of the table and walked over through the door and looked around for the beast again."h-hello? I-I.....I don't know who you are....but I have a knife."
The beast had disappeared, as it had appeared, it had formed a large hole in the wall to make it easier to move around. The beast seemed to have drained all electricity around it to make it's own light but it was only limited, it would be smart to note this for a later date. The hole it had formed to enter the room lead into a darker room, light would be needed if it were going to be traversed through
She re lit the torch she made and walked through the actual wall. She looked around and hoped she was alone.
The dark hallway was completely empty, water laid under the iron floorboard and was rushing somewhere, it probably lead to a power generator or something otherwise how would the lights be running after so long? No monsters were nearby and the sounds of the dark were heard from all around
