The next morning, Emily awoke first. She went around and woke everyone in the house up. He got grace up first, who decided to go into the dojo and practice for a little while. Eren and cassie were next and they decided to go and roam the house with Alexander. "Now I just need to wake up David." Emily carefully walked into his room and up to where he slept. "David, time to get up."

David turned over and stuffed the pillow over his head. "I don't wana get up, I hurt too much." He complained, the events of yesterday taking a toll on him. "Why can't I just sleep?" He asked, clearly refusing to get up.

Emily shrugged. "You can. You'll just have to get up around noon. Go ahead and go back to sleep."

David peeked out from below the pillow, smiling up at Emily. "Thank you." He said, going back to sleep once again.

Emily left his room and went to go watch grace practice in the dojo. Grace swung her katana at the air in the many forms she had studied over the years. When Emily walked in, she told grace that David was sleeping in and she said she was okay with that and continued to practice.

David woke up around twelve, his body sore from the events of yesterday. He swung his legs out of bed, his bare feet hitting the cold ground. Shifting his weight onto his feet and fighting waves of nausea, he went down stairs to the kitchen hoping to find someone to help him.

Grace and Emily were both in the kitchen, grace sitting on a chair drinking a glass of water and Emily just standing. Grace saw David and looked at him caringly. "Do you need some medicine, David?"

David nodded silently and sat down on the floor across from Grace. He rested his head against the cabinet behind him, closing his eyes momentarily.

Emily went into a cabinet and got a bottle of medicine, pouring some of it into a spoon. "Say ah David." She told him.

"Ahhhhhh." David said, a little giggle escaping his mouth.

Emily put The spoon in his mouth, feeding him the medicine.

David accepted the medicine, trying not to gag at the taste. "Ew." He complained once he had finished the medicine.

Grace gave him her water. "Here you go, drink this."

David took the water and drank some, handing it back to Grace. "Thank you." He said politely, wiping his mouth on his dirty sweatshirt.

"Your welcome." Grace told him as she took her water back.

David smiled and looked at his bare feet, covered in mud and dirt. "I need a bath." He laughed, wiggling his dirty toes.

"I need one too." Grace looked at herself. "Guess we better go wash then. Come along, David." Grace lead the way out of the kitchen to the bath. It was large enough to hold all of the staff and had a large pool like bath in the center of it surrounded by smaller showers. Grace got undressed and began to wash.

David followed her admiring the new hallway. He stared in awe at the bath, surprised that it was so big. He started to undress but was stopped short when he couldn't get his shirt over his head. "Gracie, can you please help?" He asked, struggling with the shirt.

"Sure." Grace took his shirt off for him.
