"They kept bringing the boy back and whipping him more. But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't break his spirit." David smiled, happy with the story he chose. "Then one day, he was at a slave market again. An ordinary slave market, and ordinary day. Or so he thought. When it was the boy's turn to be sold again, there was a glow in the back of the crowd. A woman stood back there with a katana on her hip, her skin glowing in the sunlight. She stepped up to the stage and cut all of the slaves chains, and took the boy home with her. He was finally happy, and he finally had a real home." David finished, a lost smile on his face.
Grace clapped her hands. "That was amazing." Emily brought in a cup of tea for grace. "Here you go mistress." Emily gave grace the glass and left the room. The mistress took a sip of the tea and put it on the nightstand. "Tell me another, please " she requested.
"O-ok." David said, trying to think of another story. "How about The Little Red Hen?" He asked, steering away from his past.
"Sure." Grace said and waited for him to begin.
"Ok. There once was a little Red Hen." He began.
"The little Red Hen was in the farmyard with her chickens, when she found a grain of wheat. "Who will plant this wheat?" she said. "Not I," said the Goose. "Not I," said the Duck.
"I will, then," said the little Red Hen, and she planted the grain of wheat. When the wheat was ripe she said, "Who will take this wheat to the mill?"
"Not I," said the Goose.
"Not I," said the Duck.
"I will, then," said the little Red Hen, and she took the wheat to the mill. When she brought the flour home she said, "Who will make some bread with this flour?"
"Not I," said the Goose.
"Not I," said the Duck.
"I will, then," said the little Red Hen.
When the bread was baked, she said, "Who will eat this bread?"
"I will," said the Goose
"I will," said the Duck
"No, you won't," said the little Red Hen. "I shall eat it myself. Cluck! cluck!" And she called her chickens to help her." David finished the story, a smile on his face.

"You're a good storyteller, David." Grace said and she yawned. "I'm going to go sleep so why don't you go play with eren and cassie?"
David nodded and left the room, but not before tucking Grace in first. He walked down the stairs and to te kitchen, hoping Emily knew where Eren and Cassie where.
Emily sat in the kitchen, drinking her own cup if tea when she saw David. "Hello David. Feeling any better?" She asked.
David nodded, stepping into the kitchen further. "Have you seen Cassie and Eren?" He asked, pulling his boers up a bit so they wouldn't fall.
Emily giggled at the sight of him. "Yes, they're in the garden. But you might want to put some clothes on before you go out. You can only run around like that in the house." She told him.
(Sorry, I was doing my nails.)
"But I don't have any other clothes." David said, his smile turning into a frown. He only had the clothes in the bath, dirty and probably soaked from the events of today.

Emily tapped her foot on the ground. "Then I guess we'll have to buy you more clothes tomorrow. Go ahead and call them inside. You guys can play in the houses pool." She said, grabbing her cup of tea and drinking some of it.
"Okie dokie!" David said happily, running to the back garden. He paused at the portrait that had always made Grace so sad, wondering if it would make her happy now. Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he continued to run to the garden, only pausing at the doors. "Eren, Cassie, Emily said it's time to come in. But we can always play in the pool!" He yelled happily, spotting them in the corner.
Eren, cassie, and Alexander came happily bounding towards the door. "Yay!" The three ran inside toward him and cassie brought them into a group hug. "We're glad you're okay, by the way." Eren told him.
David winced a bit when they hugged him, but he kept on his brave face. "Come on, lets go to the pool!!" He yelled, stepping away from the hug. "Last one there is a rotten pancake!" He added, running towards the kitchen to ask Emily where the pool was.
Emily knew he would he back because she didn't tell him where the pool was. Eren and cassie ran with Alexander and David to the kitchen. "And what do you two need?" She asked them.
"Quick, where is the pool??" David laughed, looking over his shoulder at Eren and Cassie.
Emily lead them to the pool and opened the door for them. "Have fun. The spare swimsuits are in that room over there so if you need one you can go in there and get one." Eren and cassie headed to the room she pointed to.
David ran to the pool and just jumped in, unconcerned about a swimsuit. After all, his boxers were already ripped and stained with blood. He made a huggge wave when he jumped in, splashing towards the surface with ease.
Eren came out next, jumping into the pool and Alexander went and sat on the side of the pool. "Cannon ball!" He came down into the pool with a splash. Cassie peeked out of the changing room, shyly walking out and sitting on the side of the pool with her feet in the water.
