David got his bearings and turned to Cassie, kicking his legs to keep him afloat. "It's ok, Honestly." He smiled, splashing Cassie in the shoulder.

Cassie smiled at him. "Okay, I'm glad you're not hurt." Eren swam over to them. "So what's the mistress doing?" He asked.

David smiled at Cassie again, then turned to Eren. "She's uh... Sleeping." David said simply, refusing to go into further details.

"Are you sure? You seem a bit upset about that." Eren continued to question him.

"Positive." David lied easily, getting out of the pool. "I'm hungry, wanna see if Emily has anything to eat?"

"Sure. I am kind of hungry." Eren said in agreement, getting out of the pool. Cassie got out of the pool as well and the two went and changed clothes. When they were changed, they walked back to where David was.

David wrapped a towel around his bottom half, trying to dry off his boxers a bit. Tucking the towel in, he nodded to Eren and Cassie. "Okie dokie, Lets go!"

The siblings along with alexander ran into the kitchen and found Emily. "Hey Emily may we have some lunch please?" Emily looked hack at them. "Sure. What would you like?" Eren already knew his answer. "Grilled cheese for me." "Me too." Cassie said.

David caught up with Cassie and Eren as they were giving Emily what they wanted. "Me three, Please." He asked, sticking his arm up to show Emily that he was here too. "Can we have a soda too?" He asked, his eyes pleading. He hadn't had a soda in years, literally.

"Alright then three grilled cheese sandwiches and three sodas coming right up." Emily said as she began to cook the sandwiches. "Go on and sit in the dining hall please."

David smiled and went into the dining hall, but not before thanking Emily politely.

Eren and cassie thanked her as well and then joined David in the dining hall. "So this is where mistress grace eats?" They asked David.

David nodded, going to sit in Grace's spot. He missed her eating with him, it comforted it most days. "So..... Do you guys like it here?" He asked, steering away from the subject of Grace.

They both nodded their heads yes. "Its much better than our last home. Mistress grace is very kind like our mother used to be."

David nodded, staring down at his hands. "Grace is very very nice." He simply said, not knowing if they knew that she was his sister.

"You two seem pretty close David." Eren acknowledged. He was very observant but he never never heard they were siblings because he had been hiding and covering his ears at the time.

"She bought me a couple days ago at the slave market." Had it really only been a few days? He continued to stare at his hands, unsure how to keep the conversation going.

"was it scary?" cassie asked him.

David nodded, looking up at Cassie. "I ran away allot, but never got far. When they would catch me, they would whip me more and more every time." He said, turning a bit so they could see the jagged lines across his back from the whippings, including the largest one that went from his neck to his right hip.

cassie got up from her seat. "let me try something." cassie's hands began to glow bright green as she put her hands on him. "my mother taught me how to do this before she died. its healing magic."
