David smiled, moving her hands from his back. "Tried it, Plus I don't want my scars removed. They remind me the past IS real." He explained, a small tear in his eye.

"oh, okay." cassie went and sat back down. "I guess that's a good reason to keep them around.' eren agreed.

David smiled at Cassie and Eren, debating whether to tell them that him and Grace were related. Instead he decided to ask Emily if the sandwiches were done. "Emily, is the grilled cheese done?" He asked, the tone of his voice polite but hungry.

Emily took them off of the stove and put them on a plate. "I'll be out with them in a minute." she promised him.

"Okie dokie." David said, smiling as his stomach growled. He laughed and put his hands on his stomach. "My belly dragon is growling." He laughed, trying to make Cassie and Eren laugh too.

eren laughed and cassie giggled a little bit. after a couple of minutes, Emily brought out their food and put it in the center of the table. "there you go. I'm going to go and see if the mistress has gotten any better." Emily left the room and went towards graces room. eren grabbed his sandwich and soda and began to eat. "so something is wrong with the mistress. what happened?"

David took a big bite of his sandwich to momentarily avoid the question, debating how much to tell them. "She hit her head earlier." He admitted after a minute or two of thinking, quickly taking another bit of his sandwich to delay the next question.

"Maybe we should go check on her after we're done." Eren said taking a bite out of his sandwich. It was hot but It didn't bother him.

Nodding, David took a third bite. He didn't mind them visiting her, he was just a little bummed. Afterall, he thought it was his fault that she got hurt.

Eren took a sip of his soda and cassie bit her sandwich. "So when did she hurt herself?" Cassie asked.

David continued chewing his sandwich thoughtfully, trying to think of what to tell them. "Earlier, when she was taking a bath." He said, trying not to go into details.

"Well thats sad." Cassie said as she ate. "Did you find her, David?" Eren asked. The two were obviously both concerned and curious about what happened to the mistress.

David agreed with Cassie, wondering how they could ask so many questions while they ate. "Yeah, I went and got Emily when I saw she was hurt." He included some of the truth, but not all.

"Wow, you're really mature David. I'm not sure I could've stayed as calm as you if I found her like that." Cassie said admiringly.

David shrugged and finished his sandwich. "I was pretty freaked out at first, but I knew what had to be done. So I went and got Emily, who told me to get Alyssa." He explained, drinking his soda.

"Who's Alyssa?" Eren asked. The siblings had yet to meet the scientist/doctor that lived within the walls of the mansion.

"Oh, she was the.... person who stitched up my side." He looked down at the new stitches, hoping they wouldn't know the difference.

"So she's the doctor of The mansion? That's cool." Eren finished his sandwich and then his soda. Cassie finished her soda and continued to eat her sandwich.

Nodding, David finished his soda in a couple gulps. He put is aside so he can toss it out when they left to go see grace.

Cassie finished her sandwich. "Should we go now?" Eren asked, putting his empty soda can in the trash.
