Grace walked after him, headed to the dining hall still in her pajamas. "Why don't you go see if Emily needs anymore help?" She offered to David.

David nodded, going into the kitchen when Grace went into the dining hall. He saw Emily towards the back and walked up to her, his hands still stuffed into his pockets. "Hey Emily, can I do anything else?"

"Sure. Could you flip the pancakes for me?" She asked him.

David nodded eagerly, stepping up to where the pancakes were and grabbing a spatula. He gently flipped the pancakes, making sure not to drop them on the floor.

Emily clapped her hands. "Good job David. So how did waking the mistress up go?"

David hesitated before responding, not sure how to explain it. "Good, I guess." He mumbled, continuing to flip the pancakes until they were all done.

"Did something happen?" She asked curiously.

David shook his head, indicating that it wasn't anything that bad. "Can I give Mistress Grace her breakfast?" He asked, looking up at Emily.

Emily nodded her head yes. "Of course."

David put the pancakes on a plate for Grace and poured some orange juice, setting them both down on the counter to look for a tray. "Where are the trays?" He asked.

Emily went over to a large pantry and opened it, reaching on the top shelf and bringing out a tray, giving it to Daniel. "Here you go."

"Thank you." He said setting the tray on the counter and putting Grace's breakfast on the tray. David picked the tray up professionally and brought it into the dining room, walking carefully on the rug around the table.

Grace yawned when he entered the room. "Thank you David. Have you had breakfast yet this morning?"

David shook his head 'no' as he set the tray in front of Grace silently, sitting next to her at the table. He was still thinking about what happened this morning, wondering if he should still be cautious around her.

As grace began to eat, she noticed how quiet David was. "Is everything alright David?"

David started to nod his head, then stopped. "Why do you keep calling me William and hugging me like you know me?" He asked without thought, making it obvious that it was bothering him.

Grace put her fork down and sighed, looking at him. "I guess you were going to ask eventually. William was one of my younger brothers. He died along with my parents a couple years back. My other brother simply disappeared that day. I only know he disappeared was because we couldn't find his body. You guys are a lot alike so I guess I developed a habit of calling you his name." Tears began to fall from graces eyes and she covered yer face in sadness.

"Oh." David simply said, walking over to Grace and wrapping his arms around her. "Don't cry please." He said, a few tears slipping from his eyes as well.

Grace removed her hands from her eyes and looked at him. Smiling, she hugged him back. "Thank you David."

"Your welcome." David said, a bit happier now. He reached over her shoulder and picked up one of the pancakes, taking a big bite out of it. "I got one of your pancakes!!" He teased.
