She looked down t Ozball, and nodded a slight yes.She didn't want to confess that she was only a tiny bit tired. That meant the day would end...and it haven't even been fun...except for the beginning of the parade. But that was hours ago
"Thought so," he muttered with a small grin lining his lips. "Come on," he gestured her back up the stairs before he began up them. Looks like she'd be using his bed though she was tiny, but it didn't really matter. He tended to find sleep at his desk when working.
Nausicaä looked at Ulysses, before following him, and of course, bringing Ozball with her.She followed him up the stairs. She stummled only once going upstairs, but regained balance by grabbing onto the leg of Ulysses pants. But she didn't release the leg of his pants until they got completely upstairs.
His gaze shot to her, his body immediately tensing when he felt her grasp the leg of his pants for support, or to break her fall. He wasn't too fond of touch in whatever way or form it may come, however this was only a child and for them he knew those sort of things were mandatory.
Upon reaching the top of the stairs they had reentered into the darkness of the remaining, mostly seen parts of the house. He had no reason to flick on the lights because of the fact that his eyes were not the only thing that allowed him to see. He began down one of the dark halls where surely a room stood at the end.

Nausicaä clung to his leg, almost as if her small mind calculated that she might fall and tumble down the stairs if she let go.
She only let go when they reached the top of the stairs, then she took her small hands wa from his leg, and let them fall to her side, and rather grabbed one of his fingers to hold onto as they ventured into the darkness. She couldn't exactly see in the dark afterall.

It took a lot for the mercenary to shake of his agitation to her need to hold on to something. For the moment he'd allow this while they walked down the hall, knowing that she couldn't see in the dark better than any other human.
Once reaching the room he flicked the light on revealing the bed that was, unfortunately, to tall for her to simply crawl onto. He led her in, but not before slipping his finger from her grasp. With not too much force, he placed his hand upon her back to guide her to the bed where she'd be resting for the night while Nelís would be doing research on her father.

She held onto one of his fingers, and with her other arm she tightly held onto the stuffed animal puppy Ozball. Using him as a guide, since she couldnt exactly see.
Once they reached the room, and he flicked on the light, she immediately looked around. She moved her arm to Ozball once he slipped his finger from her grasp, and practically hugged the stuffed animal, holding him close. She walked as he guided her towards the bed.

Ulysses hoped leaving her in a dark room would be no problem, surely she could sleep after a rock after such a long day. If not then he'd find the fastest way to get her to sleep though it would be nothing dangerous if he had to.
He leaned down, placing his hands under her arms before he picked her up and set her on the bed. "Try and go to sleep," he ran his fingers through his hair and sighed heavily as he watched her a moment in order to make sure that she would sleep.

She held onto Ozball as Ulysses picked her up and set her on the bed. She looked up at him, hugging Ozball tightly in a hugging way.
She was used to her father reading a story to her each night before she went to sleep, but she doubted this man would do that, so she didn't ask. Yet that was one of the few ways to get her to sleep, she didn't just lay down close her eyes, and fall asleep just like that.

For a moment or two he continued to watch her expectantly as though she would just plop down eventually, but she hadn't. She remained to sit and stare.
"Are you going to sleep?" he asked, evidently agitated. There was much work to be done during the night and he wasn't looking to waste any time.

She watched him quietly. Like a child seeking something, yet probably wouldn't be found.
She looked down, this man didn't seem to joyful, so even if he told a story, she doubted it would he cheerful. Simply, she dook her head slightly.

His arms loosely crossed over his chest now, and he figured he wouldn't force her to sleep nor would he stand there and wait for her to do so. She'd get tired eventually. Eventually.
Instead of asking her again, he spun on his heel and headed toward the door, already thinking through what needed to be done and how he would do it.

Nausicaä watched as Ulysses spun on his heels and walked away. She just stay seated on the bed, for now.
It didn't take long for the mercenary to be back in his office per se, and he sat at his desk, leaning over as he began research on the girl's father. It would take little to no time to get her home once he acquires her address.
Not even two minutes after Ulysses left the room, Nausicaä carefully got out of the bed, being sure not to fall onto her face, and went looking for him. Finding him eventually, but stayed quiet, watching him secretly. Curiosity.
When she found him he was laid back in his seat, still searching for anyone named Vickor who lived within the area who had a daughter. Even then the results were endless and he sighed to himself, loathing the work he'd have to go through to find this man.
Nausicaä stood, peeking around a corner at Ulysses, watch in as he worked. An average child, a curious child. Unsure exactly what he was doing. Completely unaware that he was seeking Viktor. The little girl quietly yawned, silently, but didn't stop watching.
Her soft yawn hadn't whisked past his ear without him hearing, and he immediately peered over his shoulder, his hand instinctively reaching for a pistol he always kept close by, but in seeing that it was her he paused. "Shouldn't you be asleep," the words came out like a sigh as he glanced between her and his computer screen.
Nausicaä lowered her head when he looked over at her. Just by his personality being so different than that of her dads, she wanted to guess she might be in trouble, but payed it not to much mind. She looked at Ulysses, "I couldn't sleep" she said.
He hardly saw the point in taking her the long way back to her bed, or so it felt long to him being more tired than she. A deep sigh flooded from his nose and his fingers stroked through his hair. If she was going to remain with him this time of night she'd have to be some use. "Come here," he gestured her over, his voice not as malevolent as it usually sounded.
