Casus had the same dream he had almost every week. He was in a forest covered in a blanket of chilling white. Where he stood a stone circle was laid into the ground, several stone pillars lined the perimeter of it. It was about as wide as a small house.
Automatically Casus knew what this was. It was another fight. His modern age garments had been replaced with that of medieval clothing, with a green cloak on his shoulders. A sword hung in a sheath at his side. The hood was pulled low over his face, shielding his identity with a veil of shadows.
A roar sounded in the distance that caught the boy's attention. The trees shook as something came towards him. The shadow beast, he knew what it was. He faced it, or one of its cousins to darkness, every time he had this dream. There was one thing missing, where was the other that was always with him in these dreams?

OOC: Hmm, I would have to discuss it with the other RPRian who is playing the sorceress whom my character is currently very curious the whereabouts of. This RP is actually based off of a story/story idea of mine so for the first part it's actually pretty much based off of the small part I have written. It has a looooooooooong description (I'm rather anal about my writings).
I actually hate to say it and feel bad about it, but my initial answer is a no because of how the RP is laid out and the characters. My character and the character the other RPRian will be playing are being molded for this RP (she specially created hers for it).
HOWEVER! Once I talk to her and we figure it out, if the answer is still a no, I would be more than happy to find another RP that we (and other if so wished) are able to do. If you like these kind of set ups, then you're in luck, because I have dozens (no seriously, I wrote SOME of them down one day, filled a sheet of paper).
If the answer is yes, then I will have to fill you in on the plot and idea, etc. As I said, I'm picky on this stuff, so we would have to discuss what would be best for the RP and plot (nine year old kid in this story may not be the best idea. Our characters are either 16 or 17).

Only minutes ago Cassidy had fallen into a sleep. Her body laid on the ground, dressed in her normal clothes. In only a few seconds, she realized where she was and pushed herself up to her feet. At the moment she was wearing her normal clothes, but a light come over her body and they began to change. Seeing the light, she knew this was not real life. It was her dream, the dream she had almost every week.
Cassidy stood still as her clothes changed. A lace held her hair up in place and her normal clothes were replaced with more of a gown like clothing. This was definitely a dream. Her eyes scanned the area for a familiar person, a man to be exact.

When Casus spotted the girl he called out to her. Like always, no noise came from his call. Although he always saw this same person, he had never spoken to her. When his voice made no noise, he clapped and pointed to the line of trees that swayed as the beast came closer, it was almost out of the sparkling woods.
Casus drew his sword, motioning to the girl that he could tell it was a big one this time. When it broke though the trees, the boy had to take a breath to steady himself. This beast barreling at him bore a whispering black coat. It ran like a bear, but Casus was not sure what it was supposed to be, the swirling black always threw him off on his guesses.
The time for thinking was not now, though, and the boy ran towards the beast. They met right on the edge of the stone circle, opposite of the girl. A powerful clawed arm swiped at Casus but he ducked and slashed at it. The affect of this seemed a little more than to piss it off.

Her eyes followed him and she saw him motion for her. There was a lot to consider as she began to think of her spells and such. This beast/thing could be able to resit her magic, but there always seemed to be something she could. Her small hands gather up the ends of the gown, so she wouldn't trip, and she ran towards him.

The shadowy beast let out a roar as fire connected with its dark wisps and them dispersed. It looked like it did do a little damage, but angered it more than anything else. It was still enough to distract it long enough for Casus to get out of the way. The boy leaped to his feet and swung with all his power at the beast. It cut through the wisps with too much ease for comfort.
Casus finished his swing and backed up, he did almost no damage to it. The darkness strung together and sewed itself up infront of him. The pause gave the beast time to attack, and a back hand swing sent him flying backwards several feet.
Casus coughed after he landed, regaining his breath. The beast barreling after him.

Cassidy saw the beast was slowed down, but it came at the boy again. She bit her lip, thinking of a plan. She made her way over to where the guy was, running. In a quick move, she raised her hand up and sent a lighting bolt at the beast. It would shock him, hopefully long enough for her to use her magic to make a shield of some sort. She stopped once near the guy and raised her hand up. A sword appeared in her hand, the blade made of magma. The blade would burn anything it touched. She placed it on the ground and then begin to think of another plan.
