he slowly got up and shook his limbs and then walked and bent down, then stretched "Yep" he says and takes out his weapon and saw the Pelican fly over them still being shot at, Buck looked at her "We shouldn't stay here... its not safe" he says and continues walking

She stood up and did the same grabbing her weapons as well. "You don't have to tell me twice." she said following him.

He continued along the ridge line and saw a Warthog. A military car "Can you drive?" he asked turning to her, then back to the car "if so we have a faster way out of here"

(Warthog )

"Just because I'm homeless doesn't mean I can't drive." she smirked and helped him into the car.

he got on the back turret and looked around "Then your driving, Head north east thats where we need to go" he says looking around

She nods and gets in the drivers seat strapping herself in. "Ready whenever you are." she started up the car and put it in drive waiting for him to tell her to go. She wouldn't want him falling off the back or anything of the like.

He looks around and then rotates the turret "I'm ready!" he says griping the turret tightly

She starts driving not caring how fast she is going since they need to get there fast.

He looked around and saw two Banshee's diving down at them and he shot the machine gun at them and blew them up "Dont worry about them, I will deal with any threats. Just focus on keeping us straight"

"You got it!" she yelled back at him and continued driving avoiding any obstacles in their way and slowing or speeding as necessary.

He heard and felt the ground shaking, Then the Pelican driver spoke "You two! You have a....situation!" and a few seconds later a towering walking came down the side of the mountain "Mother-!" he says and yells "DRIVE! DONT STOP!" He yells as the walker fires a green beam that just misses them

She sees the captain and gasps then screams as the green beam flies by. She hits the ga s going to top speed and trying to avoid any obstacles.

The scarab (the walker) Shrieks and starts to walk after them, and it was slowly gaining ground and its beam was charging again "...I will stop it" the Pilot said and his ship came for a pass around the scarab "But Pelicans dont have the fire pow-" Buck started but was cut off "I have the mass" The Pilot said, Buck sighed and nodded "Hit em hard" He says, and then the Pelican slams into the Scarab, Causing both it and the Pelican to blow up

Vickie gasps seeing the scarab in the rear view mirror and tries to speed up even more. She sees the pilot crash into it and screams again as tears sting at her eyes. "How much further?"

he looks around "not much farther" he says and jumps into the seat next to her "Its alright... calm down, there is nothing we can do for him" he says and looks around "There... up that narrow path along the cliffs I have a plan"

Her breathing increased and she nodded trying to keep her tears from spilling out. She followed his directions and found her way to the narrow path.

"stop" he said, waiting for her to stop, he looks at her and gets out of the warthog by hopping over the hood "come with me" he says walking along the path

She stops as she's commanded and gets out following him with her gun at hand. "Where are we going?" she whispers not wanting anyone or anything to over hear her.

he turns around and pushes the warthog off the cliff and after a few seconds a loud explosion was heard "Hopefully they will think we died in the crash, Or at least go check out the explosion to buy us some time" he says walking along the path and takes her hand

She helps him push it along and stops at the cliff as soon as the car hopped off the cliff. She took his hand and laced her fingers with his walking with him "yes hopefully that will distract them."
