The boy was startled by this. "What the...hair?" He panicked. The last time he felt tremors, it was due to something he did, that he would not be talking about right now.

Yelps at the earth shake and tries to hide behind Mimi ending up climbing to be on her shoulder

"Whoa, what the heck is that!?" Mimi gasped, clutching tight to Mini Might both out of being startled, and to ensure he doesn't fall out of her arms. She glanced around quickly, trying to determine why the ground was shaking all of a sudden, and if she should be afraid or intrigued... For now, she was both.

Jacob looked at Madelyn. "Yeah, see here's the thing when wolves haunt you, you hardly call this a-" Jacob followed Madelyn's reaction. "What in the world!" He looked at the wolf skeptically. What was going on?

Koi was sat down with a pink, fizzy drink, before almost spitting it out
"Whats going on..?!"

Jacob was trying to stay upright, the ground shaking heavily close to him and he tried to keep himself from falling down. WHAT WAS GOING ON?!? He found himself trying to make sure Madelyn was falling, helping her stay upright.

The pine trees near the glade crack and push aside, and a massive icey figure appears, looming over the party. Picture the scene, shot in breathless slow motion, as the Duchess shouts, "FROOOOOST GIIAAAAANTSSS" and turns, sprinting for cover. The champagne from her dropped glass spinning toward the ground, end over end in unnatural detail with the slowed frame rate, the roundness of her eyes, the O her blue-lipsticked mouth makes. And behind her, the giant slowly raises its arm, palm outward toward the party, and a volley of snowballs begins to fly from its hand, hammering into the decor. The punch bowl, erupting with juice as a snowball lands in its center, the cupcake tower showering the surrounding area with frosting, the guests diving for cover --

The boy ducked down, this was unexpected. Man, wait until his crush hears that he faced (hid from) Frost Giants! Surely she'd be impressed then! ...He thought so anyway.

He hadn't had good experiences with snow, however. Specifically a certain blizzard...but, another thing he wouldn't speak of.

Jacob made sure Madelyn made it to safety before going to the bathroom, what had been Jacob was now replaced by a Wolf. Jacob had exposed he was a werewolf but he didn't care the other's safety was at risk. He let out a loud howl, his black fur rising as he called upon his pack. He was unable to talk, but he would be stupid enough to try to attack the frost giants and save the others. He didn't care if he went down, he was going to either save the others or die trying....

Uses his tiny fire breath to try melt the snow before it can hit himself and grumbles when it fails

She slammed the drink down, it spilling over the sides as she did so and ran for cover towards a nearby table
Around her, the snowballs splatted and she finally dived down underneath it, shivering from either fear or cold

Madelyn is frozen to the spot for a hot moment, trying to allow her brain to calibrate to the unexpected situation. It's the Duchess' screaming and sudden dive for cover that makes her take a dive for a buffet table, frantically yelling at everyone to get to safety! She manages to sprint for two whole seconds before -- POW!!! -- she takes a snowball full on to the back of her head and topples down. She lands halfway across a chair and tries her absolute darndest to get back to her feet as another snowball explodes right at her feet. "WHY IS IT HEEEEEEEEEEEREEEEE????!!!"

"Uh oh! This is a situation." Mimi said, her tone surprisingly chipper. She ducked under a table, holding Mini Might protectively, then turned to peek out at the disasterous scene that was unfolding. It looked dangerous... Probably. But maybe things weren't as they seemed? Could just be a fun snowball fight, right?

Tabetha muttered an unintelligible curse under her breath and began to sprint for cover-

SMACK! Direct hit with a snowball.

Tabetha hit the ground, her hat flying away from her. She snarled and hissed, the sounds uncanny and unusual... and that's when her hood fell off, revealing two little curved horns crowning the top of her head.

The secret was out. Tabetha wasn't an elf at all.

The man crouched in front of "Barry," squinting up at the frost giant. Then, with a determined nod, he begins to roll up a snowball and hurls it at the giant in return.

Jacob looked around at the others, he didn't know what he could do this was his first time being attacked by frost giants. He started swiping the snowballs away from the others, trying to steer them away of course doing this required him to get only use one paw. Jacob looked over as a wolf looking at Tabetha. If he could call his sister things would change but his sister, a half demon half angel, had declined the party's invitation! He waited for the rest of his pack to show up, but he kept trying to divert the snowballs.
