Smirks as if saying -haha scared you-
"You're an angel! Thank you!" Cris called after Ollie before hastening back to finish the blanket. The stitching might not be the classiest but what mattered was that it wouldn't come loose and that it was warm, right? She closed the sides thoroughly, sewing over and over to make sure not even a draught could get in, and then started sewing over the dog's shape.
It wasn't fancy. It was a patchwork blanket made of leftovers. But it was made with heart, with the earnest despair of a mother's heart.
She cut off the last piece of loose tread and rushed to show it to Nick. "What do you think? It wil do?" Glancing outside, her eyes widened with incredulity - and triumph - as the toy was turned into a real deal. "Yeahhh, look, it worked!" She exclaimed, rushing over and patting Monicup's shoulder in congratulations. "Amazing work! Thank you!" She looked to the others, a little out of breath. "Alright, I'll try to drive this thing, hoping it holds the whale's weight.... At the same time as T-Rex and the other animals push? What you say?" she asked, turning to look at the Duchess for approval.

The boy pat the dragon on the head. "My friend met a dragon once." He noted.
The Duchess was asking a rather relevant question. Meanwhile, Selaana could feel her strength slowly leaving her. She couldn't keep Alastor here for much longer. They had to find a solution and fast. "We could attach the rope around its tail? It should be easier since the tail is smaller than the rest of its body... Then again, I am not sure if it will work." She says, feeling it harder and harder to breath properly.
Raises an eye ridge and nuzzles the petting hand
"Brilliant Selaana."
"Now we attach the thingy to the rope, and then, we hope we get this thing in alive.."
This was his time to shine. The handyman was back, and it looked like there was something mechanical to do. He trudges up the beach, and strikes as heroic a pose as he can pull off. Which isn't very. "Nah, if we attach to its tail, the rest of us will have to push on its face, and that's how you end up inside a whale." He starts fussing with ropes, flinging them over the whale's back. "We just need a big piece of drift wood, a full tree, we can use that digger to tip the poor beast over and get the rope underneath it from this side!"
The boy was happy that the dragon seemed to enjoy the pet. "She had to let him go though, because it wasn't safe for a dragon to be in the Kingdom she lived in, but the dragon got to be back with his family, so it's a happy, sad ending." He explained, "Ha ha, oh...s-sorry, hah... Rambling again."
Nick accepted the blanket graciously, holding it up to admire the stitch work, but he didn't have even a moment to shower Cris with the compliments she deserved before she rushed away to help with the next good deed! He smiles to himself, his eyes twinkling. This party had some wonderful guests.
She steals the Digger, and she drives it over to the whale, Running over a few sandcastles. She uses it to flip the whale onto it's back. "SAVE THE BIG FISHY!" She squeaks into the radio of the Digger. "SAVE THE BIG FISHY!"
Cris's eyes widened as Monicup jumped to the controls, she hadn't expected someone with magical abilities to be also good at driving! Though inwardly she was also relieved that she din't have to do it herself, since she couldn't be 100% sure she would know how to operate its controls, which didn't mean she'd not try if no one else had stepped up to the task. But, it seemed fate was merciful today!
Turning to the Handyman, who seemed to be knowledgeable about the technical aspects, she asked; "What do you say, pushing it from behind with the digger would help it slide toward the water? Head's bigger than tail so it should logically draw down the rest of the body..."

Ollie's head and tail droop as Monicup steals the digger. He looks absolutely crestfallen. He didn't get to ride in the car. Disaster. Abandonment. Saddest of sad dogs. He slinks over to lean against Cris for comfort.
She drives the Digger back to Cris. Running over more sandcastles, and she honks the horn for Ollie. "In!"
Cris had reached out to comfortingly cuddle Ollie as he leaned against her to drown his sadness over not being allowed to ride, when Monicup drove over and called him in. That touched her, that even in a conflicting situation, a Good Boy's happiness could be granted! She gave a gentle scratch to Ollie's ruff. "Run to save the day, Good Boy! It's your turn to be a hero dog!" she said encouragingly, smiling with her eyes.
As the whale tips over, he shouts out, "PERFECT! THAT'S ENOUGH! BACK OFF FOR A MOMENT!" and scrambles up and over the back of the whale, pulling the rope it had just rolled over around it to create a rigged up harness. "Now, this knot here, if you pull the rope it will hold, but if you pull this loop here the entire thing will drop. Once we get it in the water, someone is gonna have to get their hands on this loop to release it, so we don't send the poor beastie out into the ocean all tied up." He scrambles off the back of the whale, flashing a mustachio'd thumbs up to Cris. "That should do it. Let's get the harness rope attached to the, uh... Dinosaur? And then we can all start our pushing and pulling together." He stands there awkwardly, holding the ropes that need to be attached to the trex. He's willing to climb a whale, but not a dino...
Yelping with excitement, Ollie's tail comes back up and he goes bounding over to the digger. It takes him a few tries to jump high enough to get into the cab, but once he's scrambled into the passenger seat, he hangs his head out the window, his eyes just about wild with joy. "Car ride! Car ride!" he borks, absolutely oblivious to what the heck people were trying to accomplish. That whale was too big for Ollie to register it as a living thing. Clearly, it was a weird bus, or maybe part of an office block for fish.
When she thought that her plan wasn't all that bad, a new guest comes and dismantle it right away. He wasn't entirely wrong... But her ego didn't like to be picked like this. Figuring that the plan will take longer to take place, she figures that it will be better for her to save up her energy. She lets out a few incomprehensible words, and within a few seconds, the giant Alastor disappeared in a swirl of shadows and flames. She made the right decision because she was starting to feel a few drops of sweat on her forehead. Seeing that everyone was following the Handyman's orders, Selaana decided to tag along - it wouldn't hurt her. "Tell us when we need to push, sir!" She screams out to the man with a mustache, ready to call her familiar for a last time this evening.
She looks at the Handyman. "I got him" she takes the ropes, and she ties it to the animal's harness. And she slides down the ground after letting out a well delivered line. "YABBA DABBA DOO!"
The handyman steps back to admire the work that they've done. "That'll do 'er," he mutters in quiet approval, nodding to himself and furrowing his brow. "Okay, let's get that digger lined up and ready to push. Someone get that monster's head pointed in the right direction," now gesturing to the trex, "and we'll go together on 10, yeah?"
