"I uh, I'm making this hat really... sparkly?" says the handyman, gesturing to his cowboy hat that has a few random bits of broken glass glued to it. "I need someone with better fine motor control than me to get the glass pieces onto the hat, all tight together, like we're making a hat and bottle mosaic. Does that make sense?" and by "does that make sense" it seems like he's asking "do you think that's a good idea?" staring almost pleadingly at the teen from under his bushy eyebrows. A drop of sweat is rolling down the side of his face.
Tabetha clapped excitedly. "You are doing a marvelous job! Marvelous, I tell you!"
With two big thumbs-up, Tabetha flashed a bright grin.
...Wait. Did elves normally have teeth that looked so incredibly sharp...?

Jacob picked up a black hat, perfect for his idea. He still had no clue what the dice roll had done. He noticed the popcorn and smiled slightly. Well, things just got interesting, popcorn and wolves didn't really fit together but he could make a moon shape out of the popcorn, or stars by covering them in gold glitter. He got to work covering the popcorn in glitter while he wrapped black and brown feathers around the rim of the hat for Werewolf fur.
((sorry sort of here sort of not... kinda packing for my move tomorrow))
((Totally understandable. It's a long event, so I encourage pacing yourself if you need to! ))
((No worries!))
The boy seemed to like the idea, "That's actually really cool, let's see, I actually have something that will stick a lot better than glue, let me see..." He began digging around in his vest pockets. Where was it... ...Ah-hah! He pulled out a round, pink ball that had a pink goo in it. He set it on the table, used one of the pieces of glass to pop it open, releasing the sticky goo, and he grabbed a paintbrush and dipped it in there. "Let's try and make this hat... Sparkly." The boy said proudly, painting some pink goo on one side and then sticking it to the hat. It definitely stayed on. What was that pink goo stuff anyway?
((its fine Mini, i'll only be able to be on for this bit of time anyway when i said Jacob could only stay for 2 hours i ment that as me)
Next, Mimi selected some scaled eggs from the chest, gently setting them into her constructed nest. She added feathers and any other fluffy materials she could find, ensuring that the eggs were nestled nice and cozily. Then, as a final touch to the nest, she sprinkled in a few sequins among the eggs and fluff. One could imagine that these were shed scales from the parent dinosaur (dragon.)
The handyman purses his lips in approval, nodding as the boy started painting goo onto the hat and sticking the bits of broken bottle on it. "What's that stuff? What color is it when it dries?" he asks with a sort of keen professional interest. "I'll make you some more glass bits, and then maybe... maybe we can pick some ribbon to make a hat band for it too?"
Tabetha laid the hat over near Mimi and reached for the eggs provided. Delicately, she plucked up the scaly egg that may have belonged to a dragon.
"Darling! What about this?" She offers it to Mimi. "I think this would make a delightful addition, like a crown jewel! It suits our little friend very well, hmm?"

Jacob kept working on his project with an intent smile he took the Werewolf figurine and made it look like it was howling at the moon this was presented with white sequins the gold popcorn scattered around as stars.
((Tabetha, you may have missed the post where the nest was already eggified))
The boy proudly said, "It's a, uh, chemical compound of my own design. I actually use it as a safer alternative for a raccoon trap, since my village has a bit of a critter problem." He explained, "It's extremely sticky so it can catch the raccoon or even human, ha ha, don't ask... It was an accident... and keep it there until I can get it out of there."
He paused, and embarrassed, he blushed, it was barely seen behind the mask, but it was faintly there. "Ha ha, I'm...rambling again, sorry..."
"It'll dry clear, this new batch, because I was having a problem with it dying my gloves pink." The boy laughed, "And ribbons, ribbon. Yeah, that'll be good." He smiled, his bucktooth showing.

((Shoot! My bad! ))
((No worries! Lots of stuff is happening, so it's understandable to miss something by mistake!))
Watches his new friends wondering what kind of nest they making. is still not sure what a hat is.
It did not know how or why but it had ended up at this winter masquerade event. The tall, slim figure hid half of its face with a mask that covered their eyes and part of their nose, adorn with a scorpion accent atop - fitting for it's name wasn't it? However the mask could not hide the white void that was its eyes. With not pupils the pure white color stood out like emptiness.
Walking inside, it looked around, an unwavering expression on its face as it looked at the other patrons.

"RACCOON traps!" he crows, chuckling. "That's clever, very clever. We'd better be careful not to glue ourselves onto our hat though."
The handyman looked around, feeling ever more frantic as he sees that the other teams are getting ahead of them. He's really sweating now, and has to pause to mop his forehead with a rag. "Here, here, I'll do the other side while you work on that side, doyamind?" he adds, picking up a paintbrush and holding it poised over the bottle of pink goo. Assuming he gets permission, he starts painting the other side of the hat and sticking bits of glass on. "Whadya think, should we pick like a... like a black ribbon to give it some contrast? Or should we pick a real sparkly ribbon with some bright color to go with the whole... the sparkle thing? Because of, uh, holidays?"

The Duchess watches the team with a pleased smile, sipping champagne. She beckons Skorpios over to her, lifting a drink from a passing waiter's tray and offering it to the slim figure. "Welcome, friend. What do you think of these fine hats our contestants are making?"
