Luulu was halfway to nodding her agreement to travel with him, when two others showed up. The sudden appearances almost made her jump again. Luckily they didn't, because when professor Tree began to speak, she really did jump. Down went her bag, and most of her stuff.

"Good Morning Morgan!" Professor Tree beamed at the girl, and then at each of the others in turn. "It is nice to see all of you happy faces, and so early here." He chuckled at the conversation that had been happening a few moments prior. "And sorry to dissapoint, but there are no Pikachu here up for grabs. I do, however, have quite a collection of starters from which you can choose. So, if you please?"

He asked, stepping aside to allow the trainers entrance to his lab. "My assistant Jody will help the girls, and I will help the boys. Ask which pokemon you want, but think carefully. Your first will be the most important, it will be your best friend."

Hideki had a wide smile on his face. "I'm ready." He said. He was really excited now, he was about to begin his adventure. "I think we should all travel together." He said out loud.

Archur bent down immediately to help Luulu pick her stuff up and he smiled warmly at her while listening to the professor.
When Hideki suggested they traveled together he gave the kid an incredulous look. "Um... No? I'm okay with traveling alone or with just one person, but I'd rather not go anywhere with a whole group of strangers."

"I don't know. I don't really like the idea of being tied down with someone else," Morgan grumbled. "I mean, I can't stop you from following me, but don't expect me to wait around for you."

As she and the other girl split off to follow the professor's assistant, Morgan turned to the young woman.

"I'm Morgan. Morgan Pryzbochi. Purz-ih-BOSCH. It means 'the future'. My partner is gonna be a Bellsprout."

She extended her hand, and in doing so, the fluorescent lights of the lab caught the weaving scars on her forearm.

Before she had a chance to thank him, or even respond to any of the other travelers, Luulu found herself shuffled in a different direction with the other girl. Her eyes caught on the scars, widened, and then she nodded and shook hands. "It's amazing that you know so firmly. I think...." She frowned deeply, then nodded, "I think I want to go with a Vulpix." She looked up at the Assistant.

"Vulpix, and Bellsprou," The woman nodded at both girl trainers. "One moment please."

Hideki walked inside and began to think of what pokemon he wanted. "I think I'll get... An eevee." He finally decided, happy with his decision.

Archur frowned a little bit when they all were separated but he followed Prof. Tree.
It was strange that they were offering such an odd assortment of Pokemon as starters, but he saw the one he wanted and picked up a mudkip.
"I'll name you Nicholai~" he smiled.

"I've known for quite a while. Ever since this happened," Morgan held up her arms, showing off the scars again. She even stopped to pull back the half-sleeve of her deep blue hoodie, exposing marks extending further up.

"I got attacked by some Bellsprout and Weepinbell when I was little. It terrified me for a while, but my dad always used to tell me how conquering your fear is one of the most important things in life," She continued. "So I decided to take a Bellsprout as my partner- and here he is now."

Jody had returned, carrying two pokeballs; One marked with a green leaf, the other a red flame. Morgan took the leaf-marked ball, and clicked the button. A young, slender Bellsprout popped out, its delicate leaves catching the light of the lab as it stretched up to greet its new trainer.

"I'll call you Pulapke. We're gonna go far together."

(I don't think it is but we need to wait for luulu to reply.)
Hideki picked up a normal pokeball and put it in the special pocket on his book bag. "Now that I think about it, traveling alone would be a good idea. Is there anything else we need, professor?"

Luulu recieved her pokeball eagerly, clasping both hands around it. "its warm..." She breathes happily. A moment later vulpix sprang from the ball, chirping its name happily up at her. "I'LL name you....Flame..." She noded resolutely, then finally returned her attention to the rest of the group. "Um....there is only one path to the next town? Don't we kind of...have...to go together at least as far as the next Town?"

"Yeah, like I said," Replied Morgan, "You're welcome to try and keep up with me, but don't expect me to stick around waiting for you guys."

With that, she thanked the professor, received five Pokeballs from Jody, and walked out the door, headed for route 101.

Hideki took his eevee out of hibookbag and looked at it through the see through lid of the pokeball. "Sorry, I'm not good with nicknames so I'll just call you eevee." Hideki told the little pokemon. The young trainer got five pokeballs from the professor and headed out of the lab.
