Mia got in the back of the car, noticing that it was more protected then regular cars. She leaned back in the chair, taking a deep snif of the car. "Monsters." She mumbled to herself right before the "cops" entered the car. They were more muscular then other cops and had less hair, a smell going along with the getup. "So, we aren't actually going to the police station are we?" She asked once they were on the highway, speeding around 80mph.

"I'm going to probably lose slot of weight after this" Hellia said while she was chasing the cop cars. She noticed that the cops weren't really cop at first sight and it confirmed her suspicion when she got a whiff of them to "Man there fast"

The "officers" ignored Mia and kept driving, swerving around other cars in the process. Giving a great big sigh, Mia jumped up from her seat and caught the driver in the side of the head with her fist. She head-butted the second guy and took hold of the wheel, making it swerve off the road into the tall grass that surrounded either side of the highway. Hitting the first guy again, she unlocked the back door and climbed out, running into the grass.

Hellia ran up to Mia with great speed "Hey how's it going" said Hellia as she saw the 'cops' run towards them with great speed "hop on" Hellia said crouching a little lower so that Mia can get on

Mia saw Hellia approach and crouched down to the ground, ready to jump on her back. When she was close enough she jumped on, ducking her head low against Hellia's shoulder blades. "GO, GO, GO!" She yelled, not bothering to keep quiet anymore.

Hellia then took off running till she realized something "Isn't it ironic the I'm black and running from the cops" Hellia said while cutting through the forest and came up to a lake then began and began to run on it to get to the other side. She then came up to a den. "We can take refuge here." Hellia said as she hear the cop pass the place they were in "They'll never find us." She whispered hoping to not draw there attention. "Were safe as long as we keep quiet. "

Mia kept her head down the entire time Hellia ran, not the least bit surprised when she started running across water. When they got to the den Mia quietly got off Hellia's back and sat against the back wall, trying, to keep her breathing even. "When night comes I can change into my panther form and blend into the shadows so we can get away." Mia explained her plan, keeping her voice barely loud enough for Hellia to hear.

"let's just kill them and be done with it "Hellia whispered with a bored tone.

"Well, while that is a good idea, they might have backup since I escaped the car." Mia reasoned, thinking that killing them actually was a good idea. The only thing was, she had never killed anyone before.

Hellia felt her nervousness when she brought up killing "let's just rest her for the night and well leave at midnight when it's darkest " Hellia suggested

(Midnight)


Hellia wakes up and nudges Mia to wake up "come on let's go" Hellia said clearly tired "The cops are gone"

Mia nodded and fell asleep slowly, listening to the sounds of leaves being crushed by the monsters.

Mia was startled awake when Hellia nudged her, having always been a light sleeper. She nodded and stretched, loosening her limbs for the change.

"Come we must hurry back to your house and question your mother " Hellish said as she ran off

"Jesus, don't leave me." Mia muttered, changing into her panther form and darting after Hellia towards her house.

As they were running they encountered a few threats here and there but Hellia was there to kill them "So" Hellia said said as they were running "Tell me about your self, hobbies, stuff you like... how you're childhood was like "

Mia raised her eyebrow but responded nevertheless, keeping pace with Hellia. "Archery, Cats, ice cream." Said said, smiling a bit at cats. "My childhood was terrible. When I first started to shift my mom used to lock me in the basement for weeks at a time with little to no food." She continued, her voice wavering.

Hellia snarled at the thought of doing that to someone as unique and kind as Mia. She is disgusted at the fact that human try to kill off what they cannot control "Im sorry" Hellia said as she tried to keep her anger under check

Mia shrugged as best she could in her panther state. "It's ok." She stated evenly, watching as houses came into view. "I think it would be better if we were both presentable and not, you know, scary looking." She said with a small grin.

Hellia became a smaller and cuter version of herself "I won't be talking during the questioning"

Mia nodded, shifting into her human form. Shockingly she still had clothes on despite being a panther for so long, usually they just disappeared when she shifted. "Ok, lets go." She said picking up Hellia.
