Storm followed Zane to the library, hoping it was a fair size. She wasn't disappointed when they got there, it was a decent size with books stacked to the walls. "Niceeee." She said approvingly, glancing at the stacks of books. "How many do you think are in here?"
Zoe shrugged. "Dunno, but I have read most of the fictional ones though." She said, smiling a bit in pride. She was a naturally fast reader and had plenty of free time since the work at this school was easy for her.
Storm nodded in surprise, sure that Zane would prefer sports over books. "Any recommendations?" She asked, trailing her finger along the spines of some books near the door. She loved fictional books as well, but had lately been trying to find non-fiction books about supernatural powers.
"Depends on what you are looking for. They have a good selection form action adventure series to romance novels." Zoe said with a shrug. Most weren't surprised that she preferred to read because her slender frame that looked to hold absolutely zero muscles. Of course, that wasn't true.
(Lol, I just realized that storm is older then Zoe. xD)
"How about supernatural stuff, like vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures?" She asked, knowing that all those creatures in books were actually real. Storm was glad that Zane had offered to show her around instead of hang with his friends, if he even had any.

(Oh goodness. I really need to add on to her add, I keep playing her like she is 16 and forget that she is 15.)
Zoe thoughts for a minute then grinned. "They have a few good ones dealing with the supernatural world. The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod and The Witch and Wizard are both good series. Both about adventure and filled with twists and turns." She said with a shrug. She did have a few friends at this school, none that she really cared to hang around much in her free time unless they bothered her to hang out, saying that she was too closed off.

Storm nodded, shoving the book names into the back of her mind where she wouldn't forget them. "Is there anywhere else I absolutely have to know how to get to?" She asked, eager to get outside. It was getting a little too hot for her and she really needed to stay calm.
"Besides the classes, I can show you where each class is tomorrow, the courtyard. Follow me." Zoe said then walked out of the library. It was a bit far form the library, she did hope that it wouldn't be awkward silence the whole way but she couldn't really think of anything to ask or say.
Storm nodded and headed out the library with Zane, noticing that an awkward silence had started. "So, what did you do to get in here?" She asked, hoping to avoid the awkward silence between them.
Zoe grinned at that question. "My gang got into a bit of trouble and most of us got caught. My parents finally had enough of my grandparents calling and telling them the trouble I was getting into and sent me here last year."
"Ah." Storm simply said, bringing back the awkward silence once again. She honestly had no more questions that she could ask Zane and really didn't want to probe into his personal life. "Any questions for me then?" She asked, certain that he would at least have one question.
Zoe did have one question but it would dig into her personal life. "Honestly, if I were to ask about your scars then it would end up getting personal and I believe you would rather not talk about it, am I correct?" She was very blunt of a person.
Storm sighed, rubbing her arms absentmindedly. "Your right, but since you told me how you got here I might as well tell you." She said, pausing to find the right words. "It started when my parents died eight years ago in a blizzard. They went out for supplies and never came back, lost in the storm. It took the search team three months to find them, when they did their bodies were frozen. I found the sharpest knife I could and cut myself ten times, one for every time I said I hated them before they left." She explained, crossing her arms over her chest. "After that I cut myself every time I did something wrong." She added, her nails digging into her arms. The room had dropped a couple degrees since Storm started the story, a slightly noticeable change.
Zoe felt sorry for Storm, once she finished her story, she gently rubbed her back, trying to help calm her down. "I can't say I understand, my parents never cared about me for being the youngest, but just because of what happened doesn't mean you need to hurt yourself for it. If you need someone to talk then just come to me, not the knife." Zoe had never cut herself before, but she had friends who did and it took awhile, but slowly they had stopped.
Storm calmed down a bit, the air around her rising a bit as she did. She nodded as Zane talked, glad she had someone to talk to. "Thanks, you're the first person to actually try to comfort me." She said, regaining her composure. "Lets go see the courtyard." She added, trying to change the subject.
Zoe shrugged. "Not a problem." She looked around a bit and saw that they weren't too far away form the courtyard. "Yeah, it isn't too far away." She said then kept walking. Soon they came close to some large double doors, which lead outside to the courtyard.
When hey finally got to the large double doors that lead to the courtyard Storm was practically jumping in place in anticipation, not caring who saw her. She really needed to go outside, she felt like the walls were closing in on her. "Are there any trees in the courtyard?" She asked, turning to Zane.
Zoe thought and nodded. "Yes. C'mon." She said with a small reassuring smile. She didn't realize the fact as to who might possibly be outside. She opened up the doors and stepped outside to frown at seeing some of the idiots at this school who liked to pick fights with her, even though they lost every time. "Hey boys, look, it is Zane. Is that your girlfriend?" He said in a teasing tone, making Zoe roll her brown eyes. "No, this is-" She start only to be interrupted by a, "I wouldn't be surprised if she was, you two both have strange hair colors and pale white skin." Of course they were picking out Zoe's bright red hair and Storm's white hair to use, like that was something either of them could control, the pale skin was something else.
Storm was surprised that she was already getting picked on, not even having been here a full hour. "And who are you two idiots? Clearly not smart enough to realize that you look worse than us." Storm shot back, her temper rising and the temperature outside dropping.
"These idiots would be Jack and Charlie, the school bullies who think they are awesome." Zoe answered then glared at the idiots. "Are you wanting to lose again? I'll take you both on." She said, popping her knuckles and the dark gleam in her eyes returning. She could feel the temperature dropping but didn't think much of it.
They just stared at Zoe for a second then grinned. "Aww, how cute, you feel like standing up for your little girlfriend. What a good boy you are, Zane." They said, making stupid kissy faces then falling to the ground laughing like that was the most funny thing they have ever done or seen.
