Storm shrugged and brought her finger up to her heart. "Cross my heart." She said, making an 'X' over her heart. "Is it fun having siblings?" She asked, slightly off subject.
Zoe shook her head. "Oh god no, it isn't. At least, not when you are the tomboy youngest with the others being girly girls that love to drag themselves into drama." She said with a sigh.
Storm suppressed a giggle, covering her mouth with her hands. "I was an only child." Storm said once she had stopped giggling. "Do you want to do something?" She asked, clearly bored but also calmed.
"Lucky." Zoe said, pulling herself up into a sitting position on the branch. She thought for a moment then shrugged. "Whatca got in mind?" It was clear now that she had a southern accent.
"How about a horror movie?" She asked, shooting an idea out at random. There was a slight trace of a Russian accent in the way Storm talked, hinting that she wasn't originally from America.
Zoe shrugged. "Sure, I probably have a few in my dorm. During the school time we are not allowed to leave the campus." She said, thinking of all the different horror movies that she had.
"Ok, lets go then." Storm said with a mischievous grin, flipping backwards off the branch and landing on her feet. She waited at the base of the tree for Zoe, anxiously twirling the hem of her shirt in her hands.
Zoe rolled her eyes as Storm did a back flip off the tree. "Show off." She said with a grin as she simply jumped out of the tree. "Anxious much?" She said, indicating the fact that Storm was fiddling with her skirt. Zoe walked to the doors and opened one of them, letting Storm walk in first.
Storm rolled her eyes as well, laughing for the first time in forever. "A little, I haven't seen a horror movie in forever." She admitted, walking into the doors of the school. She felt better inside than earlier, but knew it wouldn't last long. "When we get to your room can we keep the window open?"
"Seriously? Then you came to the right person." She said, walking in after Storm. She walked beside her to Zoe's dorm. She nodded at what Storm said. "Sure." Once they got their, Zoe unlocked her door and left it open for Storm.
Storm smiled and kept following Zoe to her dorm, going in behind her. She closed the door once she was in and locked in, turning to Zoe to explain why she locked it. "So nobody accidently comes in" Storm said cautiously, not knowing if someone would come in without knocking first.
Zoe understood that, she was planning on locking it. She knew some of the guys at this school think they know Zoe well enough to just walk in and it has gotten them a bloody nose for it. She walked over to the window and opened it up then went over to the book shelf in her room, looking at the lower shelves to see what movies she had.
Storm walked carefully through the clutter in her room to her bed, climbing on top of it and sitting against the wall. "What movies you got?"
"Sorry about the mess." Zoe mumbled, a blush flecked her cheeks lightly as she continued the search through the movies. "Come take a look, I have a lot to choose form." She said, stepping back a bit. She picked up some of the papers on the floor and setting them on her cluttered desk then she picked up her notebook on her bed.
Storm scooted towards the movies, glancing over their spines. She saw a move that she had seen a while ago, which had given her nightmares the first time she watched it. "How about 'The Thing?" She asked, picking up the movie from it's spot against the corner of the bookcase.
"Sure thing." Zoe said, stuffing her notebook in her backpack then sat down on the bed, stretching her legs out then leaning against the wall.
Storm scooted back to her place on the bed, stretching her legs out in front of her as well. "This would be even better with popcorn." Storm said with a smile before turning her attention to the movie.
(Lets pretend they put the movie in the DVD player.)
(Lets pretend they put the movie in the DVD player.)
Zoe shrugged. "Yeah, too bad. No food allowed in the dorms." She said, watching as the movie started to play.
"Ah." Storm simply said, shutting up when the movie started playing. She loved to watch horror movies, especially ones that make other people freak out.
Zoe wasn't really affected by the movie at all, very little scared her nowadays. Her eyes were cold and calculating while watching the movie, her mind was focused somewhere else.
