For several days, a young man by the name of Zane Faye had been missing. He was the leader the cities most well known ruthless and cruel gang, the Black Jacks. He had a sick grandmother who was bed ridden and a grandfather who was constantly working to make sure their bills were paid. He was last seen walking down the street by a few bystanders. No one knew of his whereabouts and everyone was wondering on where he had disappeared off to. The gang had many different enemies that would want him dead.
Zoe had just woken up in the middle of the city, not far form a stream. She was confused and annoyed. She started to stand up when she felt a sharp pain run through her body, letting her know she was seriously wounded. She felt back down to the ground on to one knee, panting. "Damnit, I will get those little..." She said with a string of cuss words following.

She was at it again.
Amelia flattened herself against the concrete wall that blocked her way to the surface and it was mightily tall, however, with her stubborn mind giving her ideas of this and that, she strove to find a way around. Maybe to the left or the right? Either way there had to be an opening to the great world she had the privilege to stare at from afar. The tall buildings were in sight, looming over her head, but she couldn't see the streets, the sidewalks, the people. Every honk and screech of a car's breaks had lifted her determination.
After the fifteen minute trek to finding a way in, it had finally come to pass. There was a bridge where vehicles crossed and it was also her gateway into the world she was so dedicated to getting in. Without a second to waste she dipped into the water and put extra vigor into her every flick of the tail in order to get there faster, and soon enough she was there.
Eagerly, she crawled her way under the bridge to keep hidden from eyes, but man, did she have her eyes on them. It was early, the sun only having its faint glow in the sky. The mermaid made her way further into the foreign place though her arms were already suffering from her weight and she let herself lay on her stomach for a brief rest until she began again. It wasn't long until she was dry and with what she discovered earlier in her years, her tail began to tingle terribly. It was still an uncomfortable feeling, but what she was going to delve into was worth it all. Gradually, she had gained two extra limbs and stood although she was back down on the ground within no time at all. But, again, this did not stop her and if she could not walk then she would crawl.
And so.. she did. Now what would it look like seeing a woman, a bare one at that, crawling across the street?? She had not a care in the world of what she looked like. As she was on her merry-little-way to God knows where, a voice had startled her and she sped to a corner. It was dark where it came from and she peeked in, her head dipping down low. Her eyes squinted to look closer and widened in seeing it was a boy. Or at least it looked to be a boy.

(Holly Cheese Balls! I didn't expect that much for a reply. O.O)
Zoe had sensed something or someone that wasn't human near by her. She looked up but didn't see anyone for a moment then saw a naked woman walk by but then quickly moved back behind the corner. She found this strange but then shook her head, thinking it was one of those nudest people, she had seen them around in the rougher parts of town. She moved closer to one of the walls and used it to help support her up, still panting heavily as the blood began to drip out of her quickly. Another string of curses slipped past her thin lips as pain shot through her pale, fragile body. She didn't look to be the leader of any gang, let alone a well known one. She was a bit on the short side and was mostly skin and bones with a mop of red hair on her head, chocolate brown eyes and brown freckles that dot across the bridge of her nose and cheekbones.

((Haha, I'm sorry! Usually it's only during the beginnings that I post long then it all goes down to small paragraphs from there.))
It was when the boy moved that Amelia caught sight of the blood and she gasped, the sound echoing down the alleyway. Apprehensively, she slipped into the darkness feeling that it would be wrong to let that person be. "Careful," she whispered, taking close proximity to the wall as well, "you might attract sharks." Her sunset orange hair was disheveled, a bit of it over her round face filled with anticipation. "They don't really come around in the mornings though," she added as she stopped once she felt close enough to see him better.

Zoe blushed a bit when the girl came over to her, even if she was a female herself, she was also bisexual. She looked up at the girl's face a bit surprised at the fact that she had came over to help her. "H-Huh?" She said, with panting heavily but the flow of blood was slowing down. She had two slashes on her waist, one thin line across her throat, clearly they tried to kill her but it wasn't deep enough, a black eye, and a slash on her right cheek.
Amelia's eyes immediately went to the girls wounds, the blood leaking from her skin and she edged closer, but slowly. "It must've been the seals, wasn't it?" she immediately assumed after she had once been caught up in seals' game that had turned out to be quite.. painful. "Do you need help? I could bring sponges over or salt," despite seeing him in pain, she was still awed by being so up close to a human. It was strange how they wore different sorts of skins when actually they were fabrics and she marveled them with her big sea green eyes, however she was quickly brought back to his face that looked terrible. Her admiring had immediately turned to pity.
Zoe was confused on what this girl was talking about, she shook her head. "What? No. A rival gang did this." She said, starting to catch her breath finally. She hadn't came anywhere near other supernatural creatures before, besides a couple different demons. "Miss, what are you?" She had a strong sense that this woman was defiantly not human, very few are insane enough to walk around, let alone talk like they are form the ocean or something. That is when it clicked for Zoe, this girl was a mermaid.
She recognized the term, musing a second or two before pressing her hands flat against the walls as she tried to make it to her feet. "I've heard of Mermaids before.. But we call ourselves limniads," her voice quavered as she tried balance herself and step away from the wall, however, it seemed like the wall would be her new best friend. Again, she flattened herself against it, a frustrated sigh slipping through her lips. She was unsure if she could be any help to the 'man' if she couldn't walk herself. It then came to her notice that her knees were bleeding, scrapped from the crawl and her palms were rubbed raw.
"I-I assume this is your first time on land, correct?" Zoe asked, coughing a bit to make her voice a bit rougher so that her cover as a male was still good, supernatural creatures seem to be more observant than humans so they could see through her disguise pretty easily if she didn't try to cover it up, most said form the look in her eyes or the way that she walked. The blood soon stopped flowing form her body as the wounds started to heal now, a voice in the back of her mind said "I told you that I would come in handy when this happened." it was a deep, darker voice, which was Aiden, the demon who is trapped in her body because his soul mixed with her's.
Amelia hadn't gone without noticing the sudden deepen of her voice, but didn't think anything of it. A simple clear of the throat.
She hadn't moved from her place, assuming that she may fall if she made the attempt. It looked a bit odd the way she clung to the wall, her cheek pressing into the grainy concrete. "No," her voice indicated that she was clearly displeased with her progress and her position, "I've just never tried to walk before.."

Zoe sighed. Just great she thought. This was going to be difficult for the both of them. Zoe was terribly wounded and this girl couldn't even walk so how was this going to help either of them? Zoe couldn't teach her how to walk right now since she could barely stand.
"Do you need help?" she asked looking over him again, concern evident in her features as she again attempted to scoot closer. Despite her own disability to walk she was willing to give at least some assistance although she had nothing on her form that could be used.
Zoe hated admitting it, she did need help. She nodded with a sigh. "Yes, I do need help. I got a bit roughed up and I rather not go to the nearest hospital." She explained.
Slowly she lowered herself into a crouch which she thought was much better than standing. "Do you think you can get to the water?" she gestured back to the direction she had come from.
Zoe thought for a moment and nodded. "I guess so." She said, starting to get off the wall, regaining some strength. She stumbled a bit but then regained her balance.
Amelia, on the other hand, found comfort again on her knees despite the scrapes she gained. She pulled her hair all over one shoulder so it wouldn't be a nuisance, and began back towards the water.
Zoe followed her to the water, still stumbling every now and again. She hadn't been able to stand and walk since she was kidnapped.
((Sorry for the long wait, I've had big events every day this week, even today, but I'm trying to get back to replying to all of my RPs))
Amelia was sure to glance back every few seconds to see if he was catching up well, and it wasn't long until they were under the bridge from whence she came. In reaching it, she thrust herself back into the comforting blanket of water, but reappeared at the surface almost immediately. "Can you swim?" she called out to him as she pulled herself only halfway onto the concrete, but not enough to see her scaled tail.
